They won't last long. Sweet CiCi's blows them all out of the water. Dunkin Donuts...sure I guess.. but not Baskin Robbins

It's a Dunkin and Baskin all under one roof. If one goes the both go. The location couldn't be any better for this organization, as it will be directly across from the new up and coming Wal-Mart. While Sweet CiCi's is okay, Baskin is completely different and will do well. Just my opinion.

That's what we need: ice cream and doughnuts. Everyone knows the top 3 restaurants that we need in Spring Hill are (in no certain order):
- Panera Bread
- Chick fil A
- A Mexican restaurant (haha, that one's a joke; we have like 12 already)

I agree with Chick fil a but I think that Panera may be more a personal preference. I don't know of a lot of people who eat there. I was thinking we need something that Franklin/Columbia doesn't have to encourage people to come to Spring Hill....like Red Robin or something like that. I like that we have Olive Garden since there isn't one around and people do come here for that. We need to get some of our money back out of Franklin :)

Once Wal-Mart opens, you won't see a high end restaurant in Spring Hill. It will be the death nail. But hey, the city will get that bump in sales tax it was looking for!

WAS - Red Robin! Another good suggestion

Itchy - "Death nail (sic)"? Really? Illiterate much? That gives us quite a perspective on your IQ!

When Walmart opens, you will see a lot of "all you can eat" buffet style restaurants opening.

Hmmm.... I think this comment gives us all an indication on not just YOUR IQ but also how you were raised... Good thing you are here to let us know what an intellectual superior you are to the rest of us.

I worked on a documentary about WalMart and there is a true fact that in many smaller towns, a WalMart does hurt the town economy far more than help it. Time will only see but if I was looking to open a store or restaurant, I would probably avoid Spring Hill for a while.

In Spring Hill TN are the donuts made fresh at the new Dunkin Donut location or are they made and brought in from a different location?

Please support the donut shop we ALREADY have. I think they have really good donuts and breakfast croissants. Very friendly place with good prices.

I went to Dunkin Donuts around 10am on Christmas Eve. My family was with me still in their pajamas (we were having a lazy day) so we opted to go through the drive-up window. If I remember correctly the other locations have a menu of donuts but this location just has the prices for the amount you want and pictures of all the other breakfast stuff they sell. After asking several questions to the lady over the intercom about the type of donuts they had available, we finally settled on 3 different types as the employee seemed to be getting frustrated at having to tell us what donuts they had. When arriving at the drive-up window, the employee asked us "Did you order donuts?". I really wanted to respond with no I ordered some chinese food but refrained. He then proceeded to tell me that they sold out of most of their donuts. When I asked what they had left, the Manager then stepped up and said "It would be a lot easier if you just come in to order your donuts". Really! First, how does Dunkin Donuts run out of all their donuts? Does Taco Bell run out of tacos? And then to be asked to come in to make it easier?? Maybe if you cant simple tell people what donuts you have via the drive-up window then you shouldnt have a window to begin with? I explained to the Manager that my family was in their pajamas and we would place our order via the window. Since they had none of the donuts we ordered from the 1st employee I talked to over the intercom (BTW I could see her standing in the background with a clear view of the donut rack), I asked to just get an assorted box. I then paid the $8 and change and received my assorted donuts that consisted of 11 of the same donut and 1 different donut. Needless to say, I will not be returning and will support other businesses in the area.

well, as we can now see, Dunkin Donuts is not cheaper and I found out from an employee I know, their donuts are made, frozen, shipped in so they can thaw them and ice them... and they kinda taste like it.

It's Donut Palace for me when I'm in the mood for a donut.

Yeah, it's a no brainer for you, since you're already there making and selling them.

Should have been a Krispy Kreme.

I agree with Among the Obtuse: support the current donut shop we already have. Better chance the food is fresh, local, and you arent supporting another chain-in-a-box establishment.

Besides, Dunkin doesnt carry Goji Berry-Wheatgrass Whole grain donuts made with goat or camel milk, so I'm out.

I agree with Donut Palace tasting better. I just feel like the lady who works the counter there is a little on the rude side. I went in to get a few donuts and used my debit card. She said I had to spend at least $5 to use my card. I hardly ever have cash on me and I thought it was a ridiculous stipulation. Haven't been back since. I don't know a single person who should eat $5 worth of donuts. I also feel the tip line that is on the receipt a little insulting. I have worked in the service field so I do usually over tip when it is warranted but I don't feel like putting a few donuts in a bag deserves a reward.

yeah, she is kinda rude at times...and entertaining when she yells at her husband when he has headphones on and is seemingly ignoring her.

As a business owner, I understand the minimum $5 thing... businesses get extra charges on their merchant accounts for lower charges like that ...some even a transaction fee on top of the percentage they're paying to Visa. When I found that out over the years...I respect it...I don't like feeling obligated to buy more than I wanted..but... it is what it is.

I shoulda opened a donut shop myself. LOL

Dunkadonut has not been a good experience for us either. My son was hired and let go for no reason. He worked a short time and was not given a chance.
