Coincidentally, the very same place as the sign that reads "YAMATO."

Here's a sign for you. Can you see it? I'll give you four clues. It's not my thumb, index, ring, or pinkie finger.

^^^ Someone who can somehow manage to get on the internet so he can post grade school playground taunts and insults, but still can't figure out how to use the very same internet to find a restaurant in his own hometown.

Here's your sign....

Well, has anyone eaten here? My wife and I passed it the other day, it's in the same location as Family Dollar and Food Lion...behind McDonalds.
If they have good sushi...I'm there!

Sushi is just one of those foods that you don't want to have a bad experience with! LOL

Haven't eaten there yet, but although their website still doesn't seem to be working for some reason, I did get one of their take-out menus.

Prices are very reasonable. As one example, Hibachi Chicken is only $8.99.

As far as sushi is concerned, emphasis seems to be on Ru-San's type elaborate rolls and are the main feature of their sushi menu: "Spring Hill Roll," "Haha Roll," "Spicy Mexican Roll, "Love Monkey Roll," "Red Tiger Roll," etc.

No nigiri sushi is listed on the menu although a "Sushi Dinner Bento" lists "Served w. soup, spring roll, California roll (8 pcs) & sushi (3 pcs)." I'll assume the "3 pcs" would be nigiri sushi.

That said, I prefer the more traditional sushi such as yellowtail and mackerel which are missing from the menu. As mentioned, I'm not much for the Ru-San's "fusion" type rolls.

Looks to be a nice place though, so I will definitely try it out. As mentioned, prices seem right and a Lunch Special lists a selection of sixteen rolls as "(Any Two Rolls)$7.99" and "(Any Three Rolls)$10.99."

Happypop, hope this helps.

Awesome... I'll probably give them a try in the future. My wife and I usually eat at Sake in Cool Springs. If they have California roll and hopefully Spicy tuna... I'm good with that.

Yeah, that's Rule Number One in owner/employee shilling for a restaurant: Write that you didn't eat there instead of posting glowing reviews. Indicate that you only had a take-out menu given to you by someone else. Then comment on what you consider are the menu's shortcomings and missing menu items you wished they had. THAT is how you drive customers to a new restaurant.[/sarcasm]

But that's what you really believe, huh?
