Oakland, Somerville and Rossville ban halloween masks. What the hell is wrong with these guys. That is the dumbest thing i'ver heard of. The police chiefs did it. I would think this is a city council or county commission responsibility. If there is no law passed by a legislative body, then there is nothing they can do about it. Screw them. Let your kids wear masks. Vote these idiots out.

This is a law that grew out of the old Federal Nightriding laws. It prevents people from wandering about the country side intimidating the coloreds and using Halloween as an excuse.

The Klan used to use Halloween effectively for this purpose to run the coloreds out. That is until the Fayette County Commission discovered they could do it by raising sales taxes, and car tag fees.

Please tell me that you equate Halloween with the Knight Riders. This is, was, will be a stupid law. What do I do with my OBAMA mask? Tell everyone to stop wearing the fairy tale princeses costumes and get a mask to hide their faces and don't stop "Trick or Treating" until 10pm!!! Watch all the little kids end up in jail on All Hallows Eve, high on sugar and chocolate!!
It's freedom of expression!!
Not Freedom of Stupidity !!

What on earth does a kid over the age of 12 need to be doing trick or treating anyway? This is nothing new. The law has been there for years. They don't mean that they can't wear them...just can't be parading around on the street with them on. It prevents crime. Again...why does anyone over 12 need to be trick or treating. No one is saying you can't go to your private parties with your masks on...
I don't want kids knocking on my door after 9pm...some of us have to WORK the next day. 9pm is a perfectly acceptable time.

You seem to be operating at a slower pace than normal today, which is frustrating. Maybe you're feeling tired and listless, or you've hit a series of snags.
