remeber picket??? and his suicidal charge at gettysburg??
well robert E lee did.
the union was bound to defeat the south.
it was a matter of resources..
just like in WW2.
Resources.

We had way more resources than the Koreans. Why did we not win?

We had way more resources than the North Vietnamese. Why did we not win?

We had way more resources than the Ahghan's. Why haven't we won?

I've seen the enemy, and they is us.

In the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Afhanistan it is not an issue of resources but the method in which we fought or are fighting. The Military Leaders on the battle field have their hands tied (so to speak) by politicians with their own agendas.

Another Obama success story:
WASHINGTON —“U.S. employers added only 80,000 jobs in June, a third straight month of weak hiring that shows the economy is struggling three years after the recession ended.

The Labor Department said Friday that the unemployment rate was unchanged at 8.2 percent.

The economy has added just 75,000 jobs a month in the April-June quarter. That’s one-third of 226,000 a month created in the first quarter. Job creation is also trailing last year’s pace through the first six months of 2012.”

That’s the “Stimulus” still doing it’s job - destroying the country.

And of course,
“Stock futures fell modestly after the report came out.”

Of course, those are the Obama figures. The “adjusted” figures will be released in a couple of weeks, as they have for the last 30 months, and they are ALWAYS lower.

Of course, the Obama-loving media had to find some good news:

” There were some good signs in the report. The average work week grew to 34.5 hours from 34.4 in May, boosting many workers’ paychecks.”

Uh. Hello, media person. That’s 1/10th of an hour, or 75 CENTS for the average burger flipper job that Obama specializes in. Can we say you’re grasping at straws?

“And average hourly wages rose 6 cents to $23.50.”

A WHOPPING 6 CENTS! Here’s a straw.

“About one-third of the jobs gained in June were in temporary services.“

Oh, good. Obama’s economy is going to be made up of part timer’s and no benefits temporary help. Now THAT’S a strong recovery. Seems employers have figured out how to get around Obamacare. Just hire temps. In fact, you can get a new batch every three months.

“Manufacturing added 11,000, its ninth straight month of gains.

Yeahh!!! Manufacturing is back! Oh, no it’s not:

“But growth in factory jobs slowed sharply in the second quarter compared to the first.“

Healthcare!

“Health care added 13,000 jobs and financial services gained 5,000.”

Memo to the unemployed: Get into healthcare or Obama’s buddies on Wall Street.

“Retailers, and transportation firms cut jobs.”

Meaning that the MOVEMENT of goods is not going well. A REALLY bad sign.

But there was good news:

“government cut jobs.”

The parasites of the economy are getting to participate in the recession. That is a good sign.

Well, that’s one way to get workers out of the workplace. Put’em on disability.

“The economy created just 80,000 jobs in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. But that same month, 85,000 workers left the workforce entirely to enroll in the Social Security Disability Insurance program, according to the Social Security Administration.

The disability ranks have outpaced job growth throughout President Obama's economic recovery. While the economy has created 2.6 million jobs since June 2009, fully 3.1 million workers signed up for disability benefits.

In other words, the number of new disability enrollees has climbed 19% faster than the number of new jobs created during the sluggish recovery.”

Not only is he the Food Stamp president, now he’s the disability pres.

I agree timbuk, this economy is DISMAL, at best. What continues to perplex me, is how obama can have ONE supporter for reelection, let alone so many. Over 22 million Americans are out of work, and have been so for quite some time. We are NOT the super-power country we used to be, but falling fast into obama's HOPE AND CHANGE of a european socialist failure as a nation...you know..all those that have been falling into an economic abyss for quite some time. I would think it would not take a genius to realize that is NOT the preferable lifestyle anyone would desire.

" Hope and Change" was..I hope I win this election and I"ll change every campaign promise I made.
And" Yes We Can" sign on to the NDAA even when we said we would not along with all the other lies.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my friend is the beginning of the end of any society.

"America will never tap into educational innovation and ingenuity without looking at the model that we have in our Madrassas, in our schools where innovation is encouraged. Where the foundation is the Koran," Rep. Andre Carson (D-Indiana) said at the ICNA-MAS convention at the end of May.

Innovation? Muslim? Hey, maybe we outghta try it. After all, muslim countries are leaders in innovation - 14th century innovation.

Meeting Obama can be bad for your health:

"The owner of an Akron restaurant where President Barack Obama stopped for breakfast this morning died, apparently of a heart attack, shortly after meeting him.

Josephine “Ann” Harris, 70, of Copley Township, was taken by ambulance to Akron General Medical Center after complaining of fatigue and a tingling feeling. She was pronounced dead at 11:18 a.m., according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Harris, just a few hours before, had the honor of meeting — and hugging — Obama when he stopped at her family’s restaurant, Ann’s Place, on South Hawkins Avenue for breakfast....

Obama stopped in Ann’s Place for breakfast about 8:30 a.m. Harris was ecstatic about his visit when a Beacon Journal reporter spoke to her shortly afterward."

Maybe he told her about the death panels...

Thought wars were fought to make the Banksters rich.
Fund both sides and sit back and collect.
In fact even help instigate them.
