Recently the Maury Alliance had a guest speaker review the zoning processes of Maury County and Columbia. He said Columbia's process cost two to three times more then what it takes in Spring Hill and costs more than twice as much. Waiting a year to re-apply for zoning that has been turned down is absurd. Maybe this is why Columbia is viewed as being unfriendly to businesses and we're losing jobs.
