If your city hired you (and paid you very well) to count all the stray dogs in your city, are you going to report that there are no stray dogs? Of course you're not. Doing so would be putting yourself out of a gravy job. It's free money, and if you have to lie a little bit about a stray dog here or there that you really didn't see, so be it. How are they going to know that you didn't?
I don't think even you believe this. It's just another evasion. But, just in case you do believe it, let me assert that there are people that cannot be bought. They have self respect and a sense of service.
But, since you seem to be for sale, here's a little thought experiment: How many dollars for you to become a liberal?
