I love stories like this. That moron got exactly what he deserved for treating an animal like that. Unfortunately, the bear will likely be euthanized. When will people learn?
I agree with you 100%.

I'd have answered this sooner but I had to pull my head outta this alligator's mouth while catching a bullet with my teeth.
I wonder, exactly, how much alcohol it takes to make wrestling a bear to look like a good idea. There's a reason they don't offer that at Yellowstone, y'know.
Gotta go, there's a Peterbilt parked out front that I just GOTTA slam myself into from a full out run...

This cant possibly be the same Cesar that was wrestling here in central Ohio in the late 80's. I saw this once or twice. I never understood why someone would want to smell like bear drool for the rest of the night.

I did find an article from the Cleveland area from 2007 that said; "Caesar is owned by Sam Mazzola, whose license to exhibit exotic animals was revoked in November for providing false information to the U-S-D-A. "

ok first lets not be rude..a person was killed regardless of how it happen he is still someones son or dad or brother so god bless his family.

BUT

how stupid do u have to be to want to own a animal that could kill u at any given moment... yes i can see that there are people out there that have real jobs takeing care of exotic animals where they belong in a zoo.. not in your back yard.. not only are u at risk but u are putting your family and friends and neighbors in danger by owning a pet of this nature...
it should be illegal to own any type of wild animal like this

TOO BAD THAT THE MAN WHO DIED WASN'T THE OWNER. HE WORKED FOR THE GUY. THOUGH THE OWNER OF THE BEAR WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. I ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT THE 30 FOOT, CHAIN LINKED FENCE WAS ALL ABOUT WITH THE BARBED WIRE ON TOP. THOUGHT IT WAS A DRUG THING. NOPE JUST LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS- OH MY!(LITERALLY)

Good on the bear. He did the right thing. Any creature treated that way deserves revenge.

I took my kids to the Shrine Circus one year, and during the show's intermission they could pose with some of the animals and have their picture taken ($5.00) They wanted to pose with a bear, but I said "NO WAY, bears can get an aggressive attitude without any warning." I did let them pose with a Burmese Python since they are are very docile as long as they are well fed.

Good job bear. You gave the guy exactly what he deserved. Sorry you had to be brutalized by him for so long before you got revenge!
