Officers are called to calm down upset 15-year old girl: Olmsted Falls Police Blotter

FAMILY OFFENSE, LANTERN ROAD: A woman called police Feb. 22 to report her 15-year-old daughter was screaming and throwing things around the house.

This young lady is out of control. Her mother probably feared that if she touched her daughter (1) she'd be involved in an altercation; and (2) she'd end up in trouble with the child welfare people. What a shame. Fifteen years old and her mother has to call the police to calm her down while she destroys the house. Child needs to learn how to grow up.

I might add, if I had done that at her age, I'd have found myself having to fend for myself. This young lady probably has been given everything, including the world-class education in the Olmsted Falls schools, and hasn't earned what she was given. If she had some discipline, she would have thought twice about her behaviour.

when olmsted township police need more money.... think about this.... whenever police are called to the olmsted mobile park on bagley rarely do they do thier job... we have watched domestic violence with children watching it and them doing nothing... the park is over run with children running out in the street as young as 4 yrs old and even younger....cars are being hit with bikes... underage drinking list goes on and on... when the Mgr trys too do thier job the police tell him to bud out...this is wrong..these kids have no place to go yet the owners over crowd the park as long as they get thier money...my concern is what is it going to take ??? a child being hit...injured etc... not the emotional trauma children seeing the violence...and the cops just leave without a arrest...if it takes a petition and anyone seeing this maybe thats what we need..the mgrs hhere are trying to enforce the rules.... but when I heard on police radio them laughing about telling the mgr off.... that is disgusting..they either need a cop there on duty or residents take it to the county... which is in the making now I hear..

now i will need to retract my statement... since I have further knowledge on how olmsted cops are really trying to do their job...problem is there is so much crap going on there its very hard when the owner continues to bring in anyone it can no matter what background they have...to prevent themselves from having to pay taxes on the homes they just want to get rid of it period.. the remodeling if thats what you want to call it is awfull.anyone else who wants to buy or rent there is out of their mind... they will be sorry..you think you have to lock your doors in cleve?? beware..the owners are aware of all this only thing they do is leave notes.. or verbally confront but not to the point where they get them out cause that will coost them money and the hell with the residents...
