Wild animals are not meant for our "enjoyment" and "entertainment". Nature weeding out the stupid.

It's sad that a person was killed--if not any other reason, because the bear will probably be put down.

Yes, I agree, Matt. It seems common sense to pick on someone your own size (a bear is significantly in the lead vs. a human being). Wrestling a bear is a bad idea. Even if "trained," it is a wild animal and thus, can never be completely tamed. Especially when being wrestled, it seems obvious that this activity could have a nasty outcome.

However, common sense would ALSO deem that Obama has NOTHING to do with this conversation, and I am rather weary of those who take ANY topic and pull him into it.

*sigh*

Must be a GL'er that's the only form of 'logic' that would try to link rednecks molesting an animal all about Obama. It's the 'logic' of the kids left behind by the Short Bus.

"The property held about seven to nine bears and 20 wolves, and possibly a lion and three or four tigers, Drozdowski said."

Not nice to know that you could be turned into a "snack" by your neighbor's pets.

PETA - What a pack of turds...
Fifteen years ago I was deer hunting and a pair of the crap piles came by claiming they were taking wildlife photos, making all kind of noise and telling me I didn't have a "right" to kill anything. After they got cold they wndered off and kicked up the second biggest buck I ever shot. I was hoping they would come around to help me gut and drag it but it must have been too much for them.... haven't seen them since but wish a few would come back and drive deer for me again.
