Someone please check the private investments of MOHR and KASICH. These companies are publicly traded and MOHR I am sure has stock in his previous employer. Lets sell Ohio Mr. Kasich, and ask all the hardworking Ohioans to continue to work there old jobs but at a below fair market wage. I bet my house that MOHR and KASICH would not take the pay cut that they are asking of these prison employees. Not all these employees will re-up with those prisons, so remember you get what you pay for. These prisons could have been saved with some small tax increases, which I am sure the taxpayer employees of those institutions would have gladly accpeted instead of job loss and/or slashed salaries.

who's gonna pay for keeping prisoners there? If it is the state, why should there be profit involved? I'd rather see the guards paid better than stuff money in the upper management of the private companies' pockets. You know darn well that no matter what the deal it is going to cost more than predicted by the companies. Once they're in control the price is going to go up. Plus the record of the privatized prisons in Arizona is far worse than the state run institution on escapes and problems. Makes you wonder about the others.

They are involved with the private sector and will make big bucks when they sell the prisons. Also the Director is not doing the job he is supposed to do. Read the report from the Prison inspection committee. They also state that medical costs are down. What a joke. The inmates probably aren't getting the care. You know everything is secretive as usual. They won't tell the public what is going on and just pop up with all kinds of things. Check out the costs of overtime recently in medical care were they will not hire regular staff. I understand they are paying overtime like crazy because of not hiring regular staff. Chillicothe Correctional has the most overtime ever because they do not have trained supervisors. I know a couple of officers and they are paying OT to everyone. Wait and see I bet they close that institution. But the costs from the last year are probably off the hook, That's excellent management. They don't think of costs because it is the taxpayers money. Also they say they have cut costs but they don't. They are currently doing work on the camp there. They are supposed to have some kind of programming for inmates being released. I think it would be real interesting to really found out how many prisoners are not returning. Probably a joke They need to inform the tax paying citizens of Ohio before they make all these decisions. I wonder how many raises the Director and Govenor have had in the past few years, Besides the Director is already double dipping. He has retired from the state and now is back making MOHR money. When is someone going to wake up
