I wonder if it is a DNR thing. Maybe they should investigate since we are talking about native animals. But it seems if communities can ban pitbulls, why can't they ban large animals that could eat you?

Oh lets do the "Do Gooder Thingy", and reintroduce these animals to the woods, and parks around the state, Cayotes have already started showing up so why not a few Tigers and Bears, no natural food for them, I guess they will start out with cats, dogs, and little kids...

I see nothing wrong with having an exotic animal, as long as you are a responsible owner, feed them properly, clean up, exercise, interact, and LOVE them, and never abuse them. I know a couple that has, lions, tigers, panthers, black, brown, and grizzly, bears, apes, a time or two one has gotten away, no one harmed, because they Love, and care for them all properly,NEVER ABUSED. I have parrots, are they going to be banned next?

If your parrots take someone's finger off,you can bet you would be prosecuted faster than the owner of the bear that killed a man.
