First of all Honey, You are right I am a nice person but the point I was trying to make is No Officer should be ordered to participate in any parade unless they were performing THEIR duties, They have never been Ordered to perform in any other parade Not even a Martin Luther King parade so why was this Parade so different?? The So called Chief ordered them to participate in this march but why wasnt any of the officers Ordered to March in the Vetereans Parade, Christmas Parade or the March for Treyvon Martin a few months ago? Those parades and the people in them were just as important as the homosexuals in the Gay Pride Parade The Chief wanted to show support from the department because everyone is equal guess that means the other parades were not as equal??
I don't know, why don't you ride over to Columbia and ask HIM? You're a lot closer than I am.

And so are pride parades. If you ever went to one, you'd know that any in civility comes from the homophobes who come to disrupt.
and football games aren't shutting down main streets.
But fans do overturn cars and start fires. When has that happened at a gay pride rally?
Ball players don't wear pink leather short shorts and do the grind. The players don't dress up like female hookers.
No, the cheerleaders do that! And it's broadcast right to your living room so your kids can watch!
The don't carry signs saying they want to bury their face in their partners crotch.
Again, you sift through a hay stack to find the exceptions. Had you ever attended pride, you would know that such behavior is not representative. Indeed, it's present at very few parades. I wouldn't be surprised if you're looking through thirty years of tapes to find examples that you can be offended by.
Gay pride parades can't be compared to either. You call me a bigot and you are the one guilty of that.
All sports fans are "dangerous marauders."
All Irish are "a bunch of violent, disorderly drunks."
Sure sounds to me like you're the bigot.
You always love to demonstrate your own stupidity by playing games with my words like that. Anyone with critical reading skills (which might very well exclude you) recognized the sarcasm in those words. Everybody reading that, except you, apparently, knew that is not what I believe. You have again demonstrated that you are an ignorant foolish bigot.

1. I don't know about Disneyland since I'm thinking Orlando. I imagine it's no different.
You would be correct about that. Many heterosexual families plan their visits specifically for gay days because everyone is so polite and everyone has such a good time. That's probably because bigots like yourself are afraid to come to the park those days, thus increasing the good karma at the happiest place on earth.
3. They sell beer and wine at all of the parks. They sell it at the resorts as well.
We were specifically talking about Gay Day at the Magic Kingdom. It is true that, of a little less than a year, patrons can buy beer at the Beauty And Beast cafeteria at the Magic Kingdom. In Orlando. I'm not as well-aware of happenings at Anaheim, but I'm not aware that any venue sells alcohol there. So you are just barely correct that alcohol is available in the Magic Kingdom. But only during the most recent Gay Day, and only at one restaurant. I'd love to know the source of your lies about behavior during Gay Day. Do you make the lies up all by yourself? Or do you have help from the hate groups like Family Research Council, American Family Association, and Mass Resistance?
4. Self-policing? BWAHAHAHA!
5. There is no Mr Toad's Wild Ride but if there were what you describe wouldn't surprise me. Do a little research.
Mr Toad's Wild Ride is one of the original rides at the Magic Kingdom in Anaheim. We have already established that Curtese was thinking of Gay Day in Disneyland. So you might have done some research instead of making a fool of yourself, yet again.
6. I don't care about gay employees as long as they do their jobs well.
So, why should you care about gay patrons? Oh, right. Because you're a flaming bigot. And probably extremely uncomfortable with your sexuality.

So what? Disneyworld is for posers and wannabes. There is only ONE Disneyland. The rest of them can suck eggs.

I only recognize the REAL Disneyland...the one Walt himself planned and built. The rest are poor imitations and just right for you.

As I PATENTLY told you earlier, which you completely IGNORED, usual conservative trick, there is TONS of security at Disney parks, even that white trash bastion Disney World. I doubt if one could last 20 minutes drunken and disorderly, nor would they allow improper behavior.

I TOLD you, which you ignored, that I KNOW for a fact that the parks are GROANING under security cameras and they have plain clothes security and uniformed police and their own jail...oh, why bother?

You'll ignore all this and just spout out anything to further your agenda. You'll note I DO respond to your posts, you merely use mine for spring boards of your dripping hate.

Actually, a new restaurant in the Magic Kingdom in Orlando began serving beer less than a year ago. That is hardly a prescription for a lot of drunk disorderly people. But if they do show up, they will probably be dressed in wife-beater tops, not Varnet and Polo.

I imagine you are correct that there is no alcohol in California Experience, either. I know I've never imbibed in MGM, the Animal Kingdom, or the water parks. And I've been there so many times that I undoubtedly would have taken the opportunity had it arisen.

There is, however, one exception: alcohol is readily available at many country exhibits in the a World Showcase. If you've never been, make sure you stop at the Rose and Crown in England and watch the Hat Lady perform on the piano.

I'm sure that anyone drunk and disorderly would quickly be escorted out of the park, probably via one of the ubiquitous "secret" entrances to the support network. I've certainly never seen anyone drunk or disorderly. Most people are able to have a good time at Disney without getting drunk.

I was at Disneyland in mid April and as of then, there was NO alcohol sold in the park, for someone asked for a drink and they said no, not here, or anywhere in the park. UNLESS you are talking about Club 33 which was Walt's private club for his friends and investors. It is upstairs and pretty much hidden from the riff raff view. I am lucky enough to know someone who belongs and she got reservations for me on my birthday later this month and I am SO ready to go.

And, yes, Mr. Toad was an original. It's been remodeled a couple of times, but is still basically the same low tech ride with moving plywood monsters and characters. It is sort of scary for young kids and in the old movie of me at age 7 when I leave the door way, you can see pure terror on my little face. Fun terror, but terror just the same.

I have posted a 'letter' from a gay man that describes the behavior. I'll post it again just for you:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-gay-days.htm
One year we were there, our last day was the day before the gay invasion. They started showing up in large numbers. At Downtown Disney there was this tall obese guy wearing a leather vest and a leather cap that was pushing his way through elderly, kids, women, anyone in his way. He was accompanied by several girlie boys that thought it was very funny. Gay days didn't even begin yet.
I'm talking Disney World, always was. Curtese likes to stray, I think it's a problem for him. Mr Toad's Wild Ride no longer exists at Disney World. I'm not surprised that you support him, birds of a feather......

Then DON'T GO! It is at most 3 hours a year.

Why must you be loitering at 5th and Main for those particular 3 hours that small window of time once a year? Can't you think of anything else to do that time period?

Too bad, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is iconic. No wonder you are so cranky.

I often find YOU guys always just HAPPEN to be in some area where a gay event is about to occur. What strange timing you have. Did that tall leather guy steal or hit or knock anyone down? Were his pants open? I've seen a lot of slobs, gay and straight at Disney areas, not just there.

Since I was young, I have seen a terrible slobbing of America, everyone wants to be COMFORTABLE. When I would fly on planes with my parents when I was a child, everyone wore ties, the women in skirts or dresses. Airline passengers now come in flip flops and sweat pants, and wander the plane in bare feet sometimes. Lovely.

Some men don't even OWN a tie. I have fifty and often wear one to parties to the surprise and out and out annoyance of the others. Who knew care of one's appearance would upset others.

That is the end of civilization. Fat comfortable Americans.

Wow, you sure went to a LOT of trouble to prepare this list. Are you getting your master's in alternative studies? I never knew this list. I guess I could be called an Art Fag. I'm going to be in a city art walk in Long Beach next weekend. I'm showing about 15 of my paintings at my old studio, which is in a duplex I rent out. The tenant has been nice enough to let me show that weekend. We usually see at least 100 visitors and last year I sold about 10 of my paintings. Too bad you're so far away. I serve mimosas.

Of course I read the article. I was restating what did happened, not indicating it "should have" happened. Geeze!

Why do these stupid boards have trolls, and then people on the same team being snide and borderline rude to each other? I know the trolls are annoying, but come on people, let's not turn on ourselves!

I agree 100% with you, NHJeff, so please tone down the attitude!
