Sounds like they need stricter gun laws. They have to curb the easy access that criminals have to firearms in their culture to reduce this violence.

I think the guy doing all the killing was stabbing people. I don't think he had a gun.(The police may have had guns, but they didn't use them) I may be mistaken, but I think Japan has really stict laws regarding gun ownership.

Ok, you get an A for catching that. I wondered how long it would be until someone did. My post was total sarcasm. It is a sad thing but I couldn't help but poke fun since the Japanese (generally ,but certainly not all) gripe about our freedom to own firearms and how our gun laws are "too liberal" on a frequent basis. We also have our share of dummies here that are so quick to blame firearms for all of the bad things that happen. This sad incident just underscores the fact that people are what commit murder and other crimes, not guns.

Also, you are very correct, the Japanese have VERY strict gun laws. See how well they work at preventing these kind of things?

Well, if you're "sick of life," you kill YOURSELF, not innocent people! Loser! Prayers for the victims in this sad situation.
