It's WEAR your seat belts, not WERE your seat belts.
Your correction was noted by all although I think it's the thoughtfulness we should be more attentive to.
Keep it in the classroom and have a nice day.

Ashley Crumpton was a Great person. She was my best friend in High School. She attended Brookland Cayce High School and was a fine young lady. Ashley lived a good life that was cut short. My prayers go out to her family and Aaron. Keep your head up man. She always came to school with a smile on her face and she was liked by many especially me. But I know if she had to come back here she wouldn't she would choose to be with the Lord in Heaven. My prayers go out to the Crumpton Family. Love you guys. RIP ASHLEY 1987-2007

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter
without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise
strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and
light for the way.

Which branch did she work at? I was thinking her name sounded familiar.
My condolences to her family & friends. A terrible example of how we never know when we may see someone for the last time.
she worked at all centers...so we all got to know how great of a person he was... a blessing is what i call it now.

Ashley worked in the day care where my son is enrolled a few years ago. He absolutely adored her. She had such a kind spirit, and was such a special person. Our family offers our deepest sympathy to her family.

Greetings to everyone in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so saddened today. I am a former teacher of Aaron Crumpton and I knew Ashley in passing as his sister. She was a truly beautiful young lady: very respectful and poised. In my mind, I see her sitting in the cafeteria at Brookland-Cayce High School. I was very fond of Aaron and truly admired the dignity that Ashley displayed. My thoughts and prayers are with you Aaron and the Crumpton family.

Ashley was a great friend of mine, and deserves all the respect out there. It is a lesson for all of us to know that we are never given another day. One thing passes upon all men and that is death. No getting away from it. Though she died in a car wreck it was still a peaceful way to go. It was early in the morning and she was sleeping, yes with no seat belt, but she never knew what was coming. No scary sounds or horrible images... She died instantly. I love Ashley so much and she impacted more in her death than maybe while she lived. Such a pretty and sweet young woman... caring and thoughtful.... She is an example to me of what I can do... to be ready to die. Its what you leave behind you when you go that matters.

I find it extremely rude and disrespectful to argue about a seat belt at a time like this. Those who knew Ashley knew that she was a beautiful, wonderful, kind soul. She was truely an angel who walked this earth. She always wore her seatbelt! She was asleep. She was not ejected from the car,so how could you say this would have saved her life! It was her time. she will be forever loved and greatly missed. my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

The young lady in this accident was a student here at Columbia College. My prayers extend to her and her family. I did not personally know her, but a life is a life, one that will truly be missed; A passing that will make an enormous impact on the Columbia College community and for many youths.
Often times as young people, we believe that we can hold things off for tomorrow. We don’t say I’m sorry, because we believe there is always tomorrow. We don’t have to say thank you,“we can do it tomorrow”. We don’t have to pray,“We can always do it tomorrow”. But this event shows us that tomorrow is NOT always promised. We must live each day to its fullest and strive to be the best that we can possibly be.
Again to the family, I continue to pray your strength in the Lord. God Bless and the Columbia College family is here for you every part of the way!!
This is so true.My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. It would be so peaceful if everyone thought like this.

Ashley worked at the daycare where my son goes. He absolutely adored her. She will be deeply missed. She would always great you with a smile and a laugh when she saw you. I am sure she greeted the Lord with that same smile.

Ashley watched my boys and loved them like they were her own. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and her special nature will be missed by many. She lived her faith by the example she set for others and I learned so much about honesty and love from her. She treated everyone the same, no matter their color or social status. My boys and I loved her as if she was a family member, and my prayers are with her family. Ashley is with Jesus now and you can bet she has the same, big pretty smile on her face!

To those who knew her the story is the same. She had the brightest smile and the most loving heart. The wreck was a tragedy and the wreck was a mistake. NOTHING MORE! I loved her as if she was my own sister and will miss her greatly. The lord said it was her time to go and no one can change it. She lived her life for god and no one else. She will be truly missed.

Just think if she had had her seat belt on she would more than likely be alive today ? If parents would just encourage children at a young age to wear the seat belts and helmets it just may save a lot of grief when they start driving ?
I am going to say this as poltily as I can. You have no idea what your talking about. I was driving and I fell asleep at the wheel so if you wanna get on to someone it should be me. My family has been through enough to come on here and see stuff like this. Its pathetic to say the least
