Break-in Victim Broken Hearted

The article never did state that Christine had a husband or lived with the father of her son. Going on that assumption then: If the father of her baby left them on account of his sickness, Mother Nature ought to make sure he never can father another baby...or even have "respect".
I'm sorry but you just don't leave a hot momma (check out her legs) like that and expect her to raise your son who might need medical help for the rest of his life! There are some "daddies" out there that don't deserve the "honor". They are that sorry! God be with you and your son, Christine! If Christine does live with the father of this baby or he passed away or something like that...than please forgive my statements. God be with the three of you always! |

You know people now-a day depend on other peoples property to make a living instead of getting off their butts and working. please believe that whomever stole for this little boy will not prosper. If the guilty is reading this by any chance just give it back. you will feel better in the long run.

Oh, it grieves me to read about your misfortunes. Having been a victim myself of similar circumstances, I can relate with you. The only advice I can give is to pursue legal matter. I know you may feel remorse for those juveniles, but trust me, the more you condone their behavior the more likely they will repeat but with violence. I do not mean to sound harsh, but it my reality. My heart goes out to you and your son. May you prosper and achieve greatness.
Sincerely |

Why would you leave a wallet in the car with something valuable?
Please don't misunderstand, it is tragic that all of your giftcards were stolen but, if they were THAT valuable, why didn't you take better care of them? |

I bet she didn't think twice about wasting a deputy's time with making him fill out a police report. Now she doesn't want to press charges. I know some deputies and they say so much time they should be trying to catch burglars and thieves is wasted by people who want reports for things that they will never use the report for. I know we all pay taxes to have them but I think if I am not going to use the report for anything then why waste their time when they could be doing something real about the thefts in my neighborhood.

Someone needs to tell these people that you can't leave anything of value in your car, even if you do lock the doors.

Another sterling testimony to our journalism majors- vile does not equal vial.

She should've pressed charges. If she lets these two stupidheads off the hook, they're just gonna come into our neighborhoods and keep doing what they were doing. On the other hand, if I had a kid with a brain tumor, I probably wouldn't want to waste any precious time getting held up in court over these two crackheads. Wonder if they used the gift cards or if she got them back. If she didn't then the businesses that issued the cards should step up and help this family replace them. I learned the hard way not to leave anything I need in my car and I guess this mom did too.

I am so sorry for her losses, but leaving them in the car like that was her own fault. She might as well have given them away herself.
And WLTX, get better editing. There's no such thing as a "vile" of medicine. You are making the young woman look as though that's how she spells it, when you are quoting her speech and not her written words. The correct spellling is "vial". |
|
This has nothing to do WOTH the article OTTHER then you need a spill CHUCKER.
OK the response box has a spell checker, then why on earth can't your reporters, transcribers or who ever does your web site USE SPELL CHECKING? ++++++++++ This lady has had her personal space invaded by two people who obviously have no respect for the property of others. The law should provide for prosecution in spite of the fact she states she will not. She may "forgive" the act against her, but how can she not look out for her child's interest? And why was there a wallet in the car anyway? Gift cards are MONEY. You wouldn't leave a wallet full of hundreds in your vehicle. |
|
|
I know you have more important things to do with taking care of your child that you won't press charges. By not doing this, you are allowing them to get away with what they done to you and more victims. The more evidence against them, the longer they stay off the streets. It's also a wake up call for the next person who tries to take from you and the victims.

Thank you so much for all of your comments even the ones that I may not have wanted to read. Believe me, it is true, I learned my lesson the hard way. My car was only one of many cars in my cul-de-sac that was broken into. My neighbor's GPS system and more expensive items were taken. These neighbors are planning on pressing charges because they have receipts, etc.,
If anyone is interested I would greatly appreciate you visiting my son's caringbridge website. at www.caringbridge.org/visit/lawdavis My son has a horrible genetic disease, Tuberuous Sclerosis, that has turned us upside down! But, with God on our side, much goodness is still to be had. This time last year, my son had up to 200 seizures a day and we did not believe he was going to live. He is now on a non-FDA approved drug from Canada that has greatly improved seizure control and his quality of life although at nearly 2 years of age he still cannot walk, talk or crawl or eat normal foods. Also, my hat goes off to the caring, considerate young man, Micheal Benning, who came out to my house in the sweltering heat to make this report. He in my mind, did an excellent job! I actually am glad he spelled vial as "vile" because it is true! That ACHTAR vial was the actual medicine that poisioned my son and started shutting down his organs last summer. To me daily injections of that medicine was vile! On a very light note, thank you for the comment of my legs! You made me laugh and feel better. My husand also got a kick out of it! You will be happy to know that he has stuck by my side through this whole ordeal. And I honestly could not have done it without him! Love to all, The Davis Family |

It takes a really low down person to steal from a sick child. I hope that her son gets his strength and health back soon. No child should ever have to deal with something like that. He is in my prayers. I wish their family the best.

1 Where is your heart?! Her car got broken in. You turn it on her and speculate her intent. Hope you have a good day...and hope nobody ever robs you. Cause it might be your fault for walking down a street after dark. And don't try to tell nobody cause you wont get not sympathy here...Stacy! |

You know, blaming the family for leaving the cards in the car is placing the blame right on the victims instead of the people that stole the cards in the first place.
If the two thieves’ were even worth the oxygen they breathe they would have had more respect for the property of others. |
