The tougher DUI laws may do just what the MADD wants. With first time offenders going to jail, people that
refuse to give a breathalyzer will get 6 months suspension.

Once people realize the new laws. alot of people will deter from driving after drinking or using weed.

There will still be some risk takers
that try their luck and end up on the wrong end of the law.

Taxi cab drivers should work the clubs, bars and party places because people will be afraid to drink and drive.

Taxi cab compainies should help promote the new DUI laws and cash in at bank.

Are these newly elected officials going to change this town's habit of being a speed trap?

Now can we get rid of Jonas and the screwed up chef? The idiot Chef wears shorts, flip flops and a gun to Court. He dresses worse than the little punks do with the pants sangging, t-shirt to the knees and hat turned to the side. A very big JOKE! He can't control his teenage daughter and he's over the police department!???
Jonas is a complete a$$ to all and needs to be removed as well......SOON! Let those 2 go and you might have a good town.

South Congo shouldn't even be a town. It has no business district, no history, it only exist so that a precious few can gain employment. Like Gaston, this town along with Pine Ridge should be unincorporated.

Do you live in this town? I myself am a proud resident of Pine Ridge. We function perfectly fine as our own town and those who do not live here shouldn't let it bother them. If you don't like Pine Ridge or South Congaree then don't go through them. There are two perfectly good roads to each side that you can use and avoid us.(321 and Platt Springs) You most likely don't care for them because you have to slow to 35 and obey the traffic laws because we actually do have police departments that enforce them. Our police care, our leadership cares and our residents care. We enjoy being a small town and I for one wish that more people felt like you did, maybe they would stay out and let us remain a small town. But that isn't the case, we have good schools, good community activities and Great People and people want and need that so our small towns are growing!
