Whoo-hoo! Let's vote for the candidate who is least specific about how they will solve problems. He's a communist moron who, like his wife and pastor, is racist and hates America.

He might swoon hardcore liberals and the 90% of black voters who only care about his color. But he has to get the vote of many independent swing voters in November. When will you idiots actually nominate someone who's electable again?

There are plenty of African American men I would vote for: Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Larry Elder, Alan Keyes and Bill Cosby - just to name a few. Given the chance, there are some AA females I'd vote for too (not Condi Rice). Say what you like, Obama won't carry 5 states IF he gets past Hillary. It doesn't surprise me that he's filling stadiums with ultra-liberals. Those people don't decide elections. The average American swing voter (you know, common sense and middle of the road) is who decides elections. Keep the blinders on. I can imagine how disappointed you're going to be.

And for heaven's sake - why would you automatically assume I don't want a black president? I don't want a racist, an America hater, or a communist to be president. I don't know how you got that I don't want a black president out of what I wrote. Don't project your own racism on me.

It is not supposed to be about race, it is supposed to be about qualification to lead. Obama has too many issues that contradict what he says. I was very interested in Obama when he first started. But, Obama is NOT for change. Now he has 90% of the black vote. How is that not racist? If McCain wins 90% of the white vote, can you hear the double standard of racism scream? If Obama cannot win the vote of others, he will not win. There is nothing wrong with a black person in the White House. It is all about leadership. How is Obama bringing everyone together? He is only bringing the blacks together. Wake up everyone. Any candidate for President of the USA must have the MAJORITY of the vote, NOT from one color of people, but ALL colors. Obama is lucky the media is for his campaign. A president of any color or gender is inevitable. I am waiting for one that is qualified for my vote.

Let me remind you ALL that there are more than black people voting for Obama. If only black people were voting for him he would be in the position he is in now. Let the polls say what they want, he is carrying all voters, black, white, whatever. No this is not about race, it's about change. I was for Hillary at the beginning, but she really showed me her true side. No, not racist, but deceitful, dishonest, willing to do anything right or wrong to win the nomination. Even trying to change the rules of the DNC to get Fl and MI delegates. That's not right at all. Anyway, Obama has my support. As far as the Rev Wright, he's not running for president, Obama is.

Obama has not been deceitful, dishonest or lied about different issues? He lied about his church. So what if Rev. Wright is the way he is. Obama should have admitted it instead of lying about not knowing or never hearing Wright's rhetoric. Tell the truth for once. What happend to CHANGE? Too many lies about the people he associates with. Radical people that bombed buildings? Just tell the truth. Land developers under indictment? I can respect anyone that is truthful. Because of his lack of knowledge about economic issues makes him placates us with an embarrassing speech that made no sense? Surround yourself with people that are good at the economy instead of showing ineptness. I will not vote for any that are deceitful either. In fact, NONE of the candidates impress me. Obama would have my support if he would stop his dishonesty.

West Virginia and Kentucky did not have 92% vote for Hillary. 92% of any population agreeing on one candidate is definitely unprecedented and suspicious. I am sure that some of the voters in West Virginia, Kentucky and just about every state in this country cast their vote for Hillary as opposed for Obama because of racial reasons. To not think that racial bias does not occur, is naive. However, the majority of voters in West Virginia support Hillary because of Bill. Bill has demonstrated through two terms that he supports what they believe and that is support for the blue-collar working man. They truly believe Hillary will walk in his footsteps. They believe in her, and not just because she is white. I am from West Virginia myself. My wife is black, so I am not anywhere near racist. Many of my family, friends, and former neighbors voted for Hillary for the reasons I mentioned above. Obama did not spend anytime at all in West Virginia, nor Kentucky. So what do you expect? He shows an elitist view of the white working man, which was demonstrated by his insensitive remarks in Pennsylvania.

By the way, John Kerry, nor Al Gore won support from West Virginia. Are they light-skinned blacks and I am not aware of this?

I noticed in another thread, you dogged Hillary out comparing her to Pinnochio. In other threads, you have made the claim that she is a worthy opponent and that you have respect for her. In one thread you said you didn't care who won, just so they ironed out the problems of the world. So, do you change your positions regularly? And why are you hating on Hillary so much when Bill was in office, blacks flocked to the polls voting for the Clintons? I truly believe that if Obama was not in the picture, Hillary would be the model candidate, rather than a Walt Disney character. I also believe that if Obama was known to be the anti-christ, it wouldn't matter. 92% blacks do not care who the candidate is, or what they stand for, just the fact that a black candidate gets a shot. Why do blacks continuously defend other blacks who are obviously wrong?( Michael Vick, OJ, Barry Bonds, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, etc.) You can't defend someone who is wrong.

Wright is wrong. If you visit his webpage, it is full of black power and black superiority. That is racism. You can't right wrongs with wrongs. You can't fight racism with racism. You can't fight white power with black power. Obama was knowledgeable of his preachings for 20 years. You can't denounce something that you did not denounce for 20 years prior to, otherwise it looks transparent and politically motivated. My wife, who is black, notices the same things I do about him, and that is why she voted Hillary. Me and my wife met a black woman who knows Hillary and Bill personally and she said she is the real deal and has helped her numerous times buying her groceries when she needed them. I doubt very seriously that Obama nor Michelle would do this. Obama will not look out for blacks, but only himself. That is obvious with him denouncing his 20 year friendship with Wright. And Wright is pissed about that too.

By the way, Bob is a very insightful and intelligent voice on this forum. To be ridiculing someone, you might want to consider your own faults and weaknesses. I never made it a point before, but your writing skills are not very strong. You have many linguistic and grammatical errors, as well as spelling errors. When you read your posts, it is almost like reading the writings of a child in middle school. But when I read your posts, I do get your points, so I haven't made a big deal about it so far. But if you are going to throw rocks, make sure you don't live in a glass house yourself.

How exactly does Obama getting 90% of the black vote make HIM racist? He can't make any particular group follow him and he can't stop people from voting for him. You made your ignorance clear in that statement. You failed to mention the number of independants, whites, and youth that are standing behind him and how he has inspired so many youths to get out and vote and become interested in politics who never have been before. So it's not just blacks supporting him, if it was, he wouldn't be where he is now. Look at some states he won like Iowa and other midwestern states that we know are majority white states and he won them, so that analysis you made is entirely false. So if 90% of white people vote for Obama does that make HIM racist? If Jews vote for Obama does that mean Obama likes Jews? If muslims and Catholics vote for McCain what does that mean? He's supposed to tell them not to vote for him...Get real please. Al Sharpton ran for president before and did you see an overwhelming number of blacks voting for him like you see them voting for Barack, no. Blacks are stading behind Obama b/c they feel he is the man that can change America and bring something to the table. He's intelligent and he can relate to people's struggles and people feel that he is the candidate to make some positive changes to America. Bush had a lot of experience and what good has he brought to this country..not a DARN thing! With the economy as bad as it is, we can't take 4 or 8 more years of a republican in office..AT ALL!!

Truth be told, all of the candidates lie and say whatever it is they think we as Americans want to hear to get the coveted prize of Presidency. God help us regardless of who gets voted in. We get so concerned about the presidential race, but we need to look closer at who we elected at congressional levels. Who ever is going to be president, will be president. I just pray it is someone that will do a better job than what good-ole GW Bush has done. He has put us in a hole that will likely take forever to dig us out of.

I don't think that is what he is saying....he is not saying Obama is racist because 90% blacks are voting for him...he is just saying that many blacks are being racist for voting for him.

I don't think you could call that racism. Maybe extreme bias, but not racism. Racism is when one race regards another race as inferior, or displays hatred toward another race. However, with that said, I do find that 90% of blacks voting for Obama is odd, to say the least. As someone else on here has pointed out, this is probably unprecedented. To have 90% of any group of people to agree on the same candidate does indicate that an extreme bias has occurred. Could that bias be based on racial elements? I believe that is what taxpayer was trying to point out. Is there the same racial bias in favor of Hillary with whites? I am sure to some degree, yes. But obviously not to the degree that you have seen with Obama support from blacks. Many whites, and some blacks, are not voting Obama because he did not fair well in the debates. He does not have the leadership or experience to be chief of command. He has seen significant damage to his campaign after the Pennsylvania primaries making very insensitive and elitist comments about blue-collar workers. He has also seen significant damage after the controversial associations with Wright and others.

No candidate is going to be perfect, but Obama has too much baggage to bring to the White House, whether the baggage is legitimate or not. He needs to earn his trust. He has only been in politics a very short time and he is young. Obama in 2012 might make more sense. Obama in 08 to me is a little scary.

Realistically, ANYONE in 08 is scary. All have baggage, just depends on the type luggage they choose to use to carry it. WHEN a democatric nominee is chosen, we all need to watch and listen carefully and see which one makes the most believable promises that they probably won't keep....because it will happen as it does with EVERY election. I chose not to judge people by whom they have associated themselves with, because then I would choose neither (Obama--Wright/McCain--Hagee) Same thing!

If this was about selecting a new coach for a Major League Baseball team instead of voting for a candidate to become the next President of the United States people would choose a well experienced person. Who, in their right mind, would pick a Little League coach with one season of experience behind him, to coach a Major Team, like the Red Sox? No one! Right?
Still, too many American seem hell bent on selecting an amateur President to run our Major League Country. The joke for the last 8 years has been about the amateurism of George W. Bush but in comparison with Barry Hussein Obama he is a seasoned pro. If Obama becomes president he will coach this country into a Third Rate, Third World Nation. Like Mugabe in Zimbabwe - who after the brilliant Ian Smith, inherited a country that was the riches in Africa and self sufficient in food and energy but has under the rule of Mugabe become the poorest nation in the world – Obama will lead this wonderful country of ours down that well trodden path where an endless parade of pan-Marxist African leaders have gone before.

Some people fear that the U.S. will become the Brazil of the northern hemisphere under the leadership of Obama.

What shall one do to prevent such an outcome? Take to the hills and defend the Constitution?
Join a militia? Vote to cede from the Union?

Several things wrong here...Oboma is not afro-american cause he has only a very small part of that race in him. He is not an American born citizen either. He is a blue gum liar that hates America and will destroy it. No thoughts on foreign affairs, because he aint never been nowhere. His theroy is to raise taxes on everything to fund programs he knows nothing about. Im so tired of hearing him say, No, what i meant was! He has told so many lies that he has forgotten what he said, therefore, he gets caught in lies. He may be a bigger liar than Billary. Disrespect to the flag...his wife is ashamed to be an American...that idiot preacher Wright, the BPP, lies, taxes, his ties to muslims, his voting record, his granny, dont know about this witch, not born in the USA!!!!!, do i need to go on??? Last thing, comander-in-chief-, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha , he may win, and we will suffer ten fold, but he aint no comander-in-chief. He is the anti-christ people, history and the Bible will run its course. Oh, by the way, wonder what Hillary has in mind by saying that about Kennedys assination?

Me too, but I think unfortunately we'll be waiting quite a while to see someone we actually feel is "qualified." It will be interesting to see what happens if all of Hillary's supporters end up voting for McCain. Guess it'll be 4 more years of Bush policy and stupidity.
And it is ridiculous for folks to vote for Obama simply because he is black. Too much is going on right now with war and recession to ignore the important issues and vote for someone based on their race OR gender....
