Marion sheriff vows jail escape will prompt firings

Marion County Sheriff Berkley Hall said some staff would be fired from the Marion-Walthall Correctional Facility after eight prisoners chiseled through a wall early Monday and escaped.

There should be some terminations for this gross neglect of duties that put the public at risk, and added tax payers expense for the recapture of the escapes.
With the drug problem growing and things like this, it is no wonder why the public has no respect for the law enforcement.
