What do you think about huge co-pay while paying insurance?

How do you feel about paying off a co-pay hefty medical bill after having paid for hefty-fee insurance?

If it's insurance, and you have paid them, do you think it is right that you still have to pay a big bill when they do not pay up after taking thousands of dollars from you for years on end?

You voluntarily purchased the insurance. If you read the policy that you purchased, I am sure all the co-pays were clearly outlined for you. If you did not like the co-pay, you shouldn't have purchased the policy.

All pretty much moot at this point, anyway. Over the next few years, as obamacare starts kicking in, it will get a whole lot worse. If you think it is bad now - just wait. At least now, you have a choice.

No. You have insurance deducted from your paycheck, and it is hard-earned money. I know of an instance when the employer changed the insurance for the whole place, and the workers never missed a payment, and the person was not covered when needed the most. By the way they had been paying monthly premiums for years, when the policy changed.

The employee was not at fault for paying the premium, as requested and still not covered. The insurance salesman and employer were at fault for not having a bridge between the two, when payments were made, without interruption for years.

And, I remember a time when hospitalization premiums paid the complete medical bills when people signed up with them, and on the news now, it is reported the co-pay is going to become more again. It is greed and nothing else. It is not insurance, at all, any more.

Insurance is something you buy, hoping you will never need it, but when you need it, then it should pay for what you need. That is what insurance was created for, what the word insurance means.

Did you know that there are people in Columbia, Missouri that are sick and dying because they cannot afford high medical bills - and did you know that there are huge insurance buildings that house bonus-making agents off your premiums, and take vacations, at your expense?

Don't kid yourself.
