Missouri mother gets 25 years for baby's burning death

A central Missouri woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of her young son, who died after his blanket was set on fire.Christina White, 29, was sentenced Thursday for second-degree murder.

Seriously? We are gonna punish her for killing her baby when women are allowed to do it legally every day? Every child has a right to life.

I was going to argue that her method was torturous to the baby but then again we don't reall know what the "fetus" feels either.
And I am still not impressed with the sentence.

This is all so sad. Sad a mother feels that's the only way out. And sad a child lost a life in such a painful way. The child and mother had grand parents n family that this wi effect as well. Maybe we need to be there for young mothers a bit more like in the old days. But it sicken me for that child. Just all around SAD!!!
