i have prayed for the people as well as their families when this first happened so you can stop your smart remarks. i stated that i had not saw anything stating fault because someone stated mr gibson wasnt at fault

Deadly Car Crash In Adair County

A three car crash kills a woman in Adair County.

Kentucky State Police say it happened on KY-61 at about 1:40 in the afternoon.

Glenda Downey, 44, of Jamestown was driving a 1992 Oldsmobile.

She was going south on the Columbia bypass when she ran a red light and crashed into pick up, that pick up then crashed into another pick up.

One of the trucks, going West on Burkesville Street was being driven by Ronald Gibson, 59, of Columbia.

Gibson then struck a 1996 Chevrolet that was going east on Burkesville Street.

Cynthia Harvey, 59, was driving the second truck.

Downey was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner.

Gibson and Harvey were transported to Westlake Hospital where they were treated and released.

A passenger in the Downey vehicle, 79-year-old Mary Huff of Russell Springs, was belted but was flown to University of Kentucky Hospital and is in stable condition.

This is no time to be stupid. A life was lost and others were injured. Praying for the victims and their families
