if anyone out there is at rock bottom and really needs rehab to get off drugs of any kind you can forget about this so called community based program.... unless you got $1000 dollars to hand to them. even if you are suicidal and begging for help, you can forget it without the cash. and if greg trout would like to talk to me i left my number with your so called counslor... 4 times, and still no return call. good luck and god bless.
Not entirely true

All that is not entirely true...They are a "COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAM" Therefore they can not afford to give you a free rehabilitation unless someone in the "COMMUNITY" has donated money for that. They are a non-profit organization, they do not make extra money, all of what is made goes into giving free rehabilitations, paying the existing mortgage/ bills, and improving the facility. I know this first hand. They are good people who would and will help you IF THEY CAN. If they couldn't when you tried to reach them, that means they couldn't help you.

I personally received a free rehabilition years ago, like i say years ago, and I was blessed to receive it. That doesn't mean that everyone will get that, it just means that the place would if they could.

I think that the place has gotten wiser over the years with their finances, and they understand that giving out too many "discounted" or free rehabilitations could jepordize the mission as a whole...Which is to serve KY with an AFFORDABLE rehab. Therefore they might not be able to rehabilitate anyone at all in the future.

As it stands, I encourage you to find another rehab for $1000 a month or cheaper...it wont happen, unless you go to the homless shelters.

BTW, I was a 2nd chancer, and they helped me, I am sorry they couldn't help you. If I was you I would probably save money, ask a few churches in your area to sponsor you, ask family.

Now how is someone going to save money if they are a drug addict? Every penny they get goes for the drug of their choice. It's a never ending cycle for them. Some can't afford to get help.

If someone is reaching out for help you should encourage them to do what is right. Unless you would rather see more people stay hooked on drugs which really hurts your whole community! Geeze...grow up. Even the best families find their loved ones in the grips of drug addiction. Hope it never happens to anyone you care about.

I went to 2nd Chance for 60 days and it changed my life. Those who don't generally get anything out of it are close-minded or forced to go there. If you open your heart and mind to Christ and this program, you WILL be helped. When I went the location I was at had only been open for maybe 2 months so things were still in the process of being worked out. Not quite sure, but check the Russell co. paper or Adair paper,,, in around 2009. I spoke at a gathering for media. This was to get the program "out there",,, let folks know Christ was moving in amazing, new ways for those who need help. I first met Gregg and his wife D.J. in the Adair jail. After his stunning testimony, I knew that was where I wanted,,,no, needed to be. Give it a chance and have an open mind, don't be afraid to get ya hands dirty ( I cleaned rooms & did laundry :) and you will have an experience that will alter your soul. Tina B.

I do believe he is a false person. That what you see is not who he is. The place in Campbellsville , KY is a dump of a rehab. Filthy. No rehabbilitating going on there. Only deceit, lies, people sleeping with the help. Clients not being feed proper. Workers buying the food there with food stamps, and still the men are not being fed right. Men coming out with scabies. Keeping payed clients personal money. I'm appauled that I left my love one there and my instincts told me not to. I'm a Christian women and that's not how a faith base rehab should operate. I'm having them investigated for fraud of our love ones.

Why don't you quit making excuses and let God heal you. I didn't go to rehab, and I was snorting 25-30 lortabs a day mixed mixed with methado and klonopins. I asked God to heal me of my addiction. Guess what, He did. God is the great Physician. He can heal all sickness, and He will if you turn to Him.

So, the program is only for one woman at a time? Wow, you'd think that they would let more than one woman in at a time. Oh, did you mean there is a women's program?

Do you have multiple personalities? You said that you are a Christian women. Women is plural, so how many of you are there? Also, it should be, "not being fed right, not feed right. If you want people to take your comments seriously, try learning grammar.

Place is for sure a joke of a rehab. Scott and Mac both have mental problems and are control freaks just like the owners Greg and DJ. I could go on about both of them for an hour if I wanted to. I have my own reservations that Mac could be a child molester. Scott just has major anger and control issues. If you aren't into drinking the kool-aid they jam down your throat then I wouldn't suggest giving this place a try. The office is ran for free by the women, just so they get a chance to get out of sitting in "class" all day, or for a "free" ride to their program. They had some aggressive violent meth-head named Ronnie for "security" while I was there. He was offering his services for a free ride. He was unstable and irritable. So for that part of it you can see they run the rehab by using the muscle of those that are actually there to get help so they don't have to pay real employees. Once they have those positions filled no one else is going to get in for a discounted rate. There was a guy there that got to stay even though he stole the van and got the men drunk, also got a hold of keys and got into some things he shouldn't have. Others get kicked to the curb for doing nothing. Talk about playing favorites. All the food is kept on the women's side so they choose what to cook and since they're addicts just like we are the men don't get fed as well. So far as the curriculum it is a bunch of dry 12-step stuff that uses bible verses to intertwine recovery with religion. A lot of the scriptures are "one-liners" taken totally out of context. You sit there 10 hours a day writing the same crap over and over. They start by making you write a "Dear God" letter everyday, that you have to turn in. It's more like a "Dear Greg" letter. I'll assure you God doesn't read it. So far as recovery rates they are very low. I've since looked up everyone I can from the program and most are back in jail. It's been about a year since I left. Can't say I know about the success rates for the women since I didn't know any of them. The person that stole the van was also banging some of the office help while I was there. Also a few others getting it on, whenever they could sneak off and do so. I could tell Greg was full of himself and a fake when I was down there, my suspicions were confirmed when a reliable source informed me that they found him passed out in his office with a needle in his arm a few months after I left. So if you are into hole in the wall cults with bad food, poor leadership at the top, unstable staff, low success rates, favoritism, mindless paperwork, and lots of quality time with Jesus; this rehab is for you!

Even if anything you said were true, you are spineless or you would go to the source instead of bashing on a gossip site. Or better yet, take those claims to law enforcement. I hope they sue your ass for slander!!
People like you make me sick trying to take everyone down with you. So what did you want… Coca-Cola or Pepsi!! Sorry you had to drink Kool-Aid but I'm sure they are on a tight budget. Be careful speaking bad of Gods workers. God will prevail on their behalf!!
