I USED to have her make all my cakes until she RUINED my sons wedding cake and refused to call us back OR make it right..she left the cake there with some people setting up and when I saw how badly it was leaning I called her and she wouldnt answer her phone and never returned my call..she called my son and left a message saying she was sorry this had never happened before..RIGHT!! But she never offered to come back and fix it or give them a discount or anything..I understand things happen but she had to see how badly it was leaning when she left it there and she couldve at least returned my call or offered a refund of some sort but she didnt and she has lost a lot of business from us because we have a large family with several kids and grandkids so that was a lot of cakes but to each his own..I wish you luck..again this is only our opnion

Mellisa is the best. No one i know has ever had a problem with her. I think she still works at Speedway to so you could probably get a hold of her there. And her icing is out of this world! You wont find any better.

I agree 100%. She has done all of my cakes for years, and no one I know has ever had a problem with her either. In my opinion, she's a very sweet lady and very easy to get along with.

I do most of my own but of course Im not a professional and I cant do alot of special cakes so I usually have to go with my plain old cakes LOL but the last one I had made my mother in law had a lady at tompkinsville make and it was great it had real fruit in it and wasnt to expensive but after the experience with melissa I just cant trust her again but her cakes were good to eat but if you have a special occasion such as a wedding or special birthday I just wouldnt trust her because she did mess my sons wedding cake up and had no remorse for it so for me I just wont use her again..but as I said to each their own

Your funny!!!If you would like to know after repeatedly calling her for help with it and no answer we had to take it apart and set all the layers out on the table..I dont know about anyone else but after paying for a costly cake and it being your childs wedding I didnt want to just "prop it up' which by the way we tried and it still had to took apart which was such a lovely secene an a wedding the couple trying to cut the piece off to toast with and the someone else holding the cake so it didnt just spill out on the floor..guess thats why we didnt keep it propped up but thanks for your input..oh and btw would you go buy say new tires and as soon as you leave that place they just blow apart would you just patch them up or ask for a refund???

Greensburg has a couple of ladies that make wonderful cakes with the kind of icing you are talking about one is very reasonable and the other is a little higher not much though. There cakes are well worth the price the 1st one you can get a 1/4 sheet cake from her for $10.00 and she can do alot of designs. Her name is Judy Blakeman and the other is Bonnie McCloughn
