I'm sure they do because only they know what they did to him to make him go over the edge. Think about it a good kid that is smart and everyone in the community loves just up and decides to kill his parents out of the blue.... yea right. There was something there that no one knew about that made him loose controll. But people were to busy upholding brian and barbra to get the facts.

Kentucky Death Records give the death date for Joseph, Beth

Hold on there...What THEY did to him?? I don't see Manning murdering anyone, they were good to him and mistreated Blake?? I think not. He was smart..but a good kid loved by everyone he was NOT! He got caught stealing at boy scout camp, he was a bully to the younger kids. He was a runt..so couldn't be a bully to those his own age...but picked on the younger ones. His parents were upset and punishing him for getting drunk and wrecking a car...I get that! You think they should have patted him on the back and told him it was no big deal?? He wouldn't listen to his mother at all, ran all over her, that's why Brian was gonna take him with on his next trip. I agree...his parents have forgiven him, they loved him. There was something there no one knew about...we all have tried to think of signs that we, as parents that were around him regularly, may have missed. It is definately a tragic situation, and I know that some of his family visit him, that's great. They must be very good people, I don't know if I could do that. I don't believe he was abused at all. He was a spoiled brat who didn't think that the rules applied to him. I doubt that he is picking on anyone where he is now.

You are highly wrong Manning was the spoiled brat and Blake got the shit end of the deal. Anything that Blake done he was always the shadow for his parents the nit that was in there way nothing he did was good enough. There is more to the story than anyone on the outside looking in knew about. Yes he deserves to be punished for what he did but he is not the only bad guy in the suitation. How can you charge a minor with murder one when he don't even know the meaning of it. Murder one is premeated murder. What he did was not premeated it was psyoligical and his punishment needs to be revised.

What was the kids name who may or may not have hanged himself back in 93 or 94. He had a wife and kid too. Can't remember her name either. I think his last name might have been shepherd.

So I guess getting a gun, loading it, pointing it at your parents and pulling the trigger isn't permeated?

No this kid was is the 90s. He was in the yearbook and all that. Later speculation came up that the uncle might be involved. His first name could be Ricky. I got curious and searched the Internet and found nothing.

If you had read the paper he was fighting with his dad and left to go hunting to calm down, when he came home his father continued the argument, Blake went to his room to calm down again, he had been thinking about everything that was happening he got overwhelmed blacked out and when he came to they were dead its called post traumatic stress syndrome when you put a child under to much they break.

Permeated was funny because permeate means to go through. You know, like a bullet. He meant something else.

I don't believe that for a minute! Yes they were arguing..and I don't doubt that the argument continued when Blake came back...but blacked out??? I don't think so. If that were true why did he bring his friend out and show him the bodies? Why did he run? He knew exactly what he did and he knew it was wrong. He made his own trouble and then lied to try to get out of it.
