The people that have ruined the church are the church members that only go to church to gossip and Bed hop. A Church is not made up of four walls and a roof. The members are the ones that make up the church. Just because you wear a long dress on Sunday and get up and sing in a choir or a singing group that does not make you a Christian. A true Christian does not live life as a sinner Monday through Saturday and come to church on Sunday just to put on a show for everyone. I commend Mr. Sinclair for putting his name on here and his comment. I know he has always been a very blunt man but a very truthful man as well. He calls it like he sees it. I know with what his exwife Patricia put him through and some of the church members that upholded her cheating and lies and continued and even to this day still continues to cast the evil eye and hard stare in the wrong direction. When u repent and ask forgiveness, u change things in your life but u also go back to those that u have done wrong and ask their forgiveness as well. If they choose to forgive u or not, then its on them, but u still have to go back and correct who u have wronged. People have forgotten the true meaning of a christian. Church is now all about partys, plays, pie socials, potlucks, and benefit singings and fundraisers. People only go to church when its convenient to them and for them. The church and God shouldnt be used. Shame shame on each of u that do so.

Dont know anything about these topics my point is take it up with the people in question leave the church out of it. Churches suffer enoph persecution without every little event being atached to the church. When there is no confidence or trust people will not asociate with a group regardless of if it is church or business . If someone feels they have a problem but fear asking for help will only get them ridicule. Or instead of prayer of a friend and help with a problem they wind up the new gossip topic on facebook topic and all the other gossip places for millions to see . Then we wonder why people doubt christians. Fruit inspectors are everywhere and if everytime people go to market the apples are rotten people will go else where . And if else where apples are rotten people will just forget it eat chochlate get fat and lazy. Which people have done physical and spirtually. If you want people to believe and trust you must present them with something worthy of being believed in . You want to be trusted you must be proven. Please stop the gossip and study yourself get back to spreading gospel. Leave gossip to hollywood.

ARE YOU A GENUINE CHRISTIAN?
It is vital for each person who claims to be a Christian to answer this question positively. Why? Because God’s approval depends thereon. Christianity is not merely a belief or a label, but a way of life. Does your way of life reflect Christ’s example? Does your religious practice match the Biblical quality of the early Christians?
The apostle Paul invites us:“Put yourselves to the proof, to see whether you are holding the Faith. Test yourselves.”(2 Corinthians 13:5, The Twentieth Century New Testament) To this end, we invite you to check the following short list, while looking up the cited scriptures in your own Bible.
1. Do you participate in national or political loyalties that cause divisions among professed Christians?—1 Corinthians 1:10; John 18:36; James 1:27.
2. How do you define Christian love?—1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
3. Do you, in practice, endeavor to show true neighbor love? How?—Matthew 22:39; John 13:34, 35.
4. Are you kind, tenderly compassionate and forgiving toward others?—Ephesians 4:31; Romans 12:10.
5. In your daily life, do you avoid lying, stealing, cheating and the use of obscene and abusive language?—Ephesians 5:3-5; 4:25-31.
6. Are you inclined to think that sexual morality is of minor importance?—Mark 7:20-23.
7. Do you tend to excesses in eating and drinking?—Proverbs 23:20, 21; Ephesians 5:18.
8. Do you try to communicate true Christian faith to others by word and deed?—Romans 10:9, 10; 1 Corinthians 9:16.
At what conclusion do you arrive? Do true Christians really exist today? Do you know of any who earnestly try to live like Christ and at the same time make a real effort to communicate their Christian belief and way of life to their neighbors? Does your own religion in fact teach and practice genuine Christianity? Or is this just an attractive label or impressive signature?
If you do not already know them personally, we suggest you take a closer look at Jehovah’s Witnesses in your vicinity and see if they are conscientiously endeavoring to measure up to the Bible standards considered above. If you do not know where they are located, we will be glad to help you to get in touch with them.—Isaiah 43:10-12; Acts 11:26.

Yes I know about the Jehovah's witness people, the day after I buried my husband a couple of ladies showed up at my door, the first thing out of their mouth was "do you know about death" my answer "yes I know all about death, I just buried my husband yesterday" they looked shocked and left in a hurry, nothing else was said.

I would never dispute your word because I don't know what my sisters may have done. But you make it hard to believe they would leave without offering comfort to you, as we have a brochure, "When Someone You LOve Dies" that gives you a lot of comfort and helps you to cope with the death of a loved one. I know first hand I lost a son just 18 in an auto accident that brochure helped me.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. Would you like to see him again? When Jehovah's Witnesses come around again ask them for the above brochere it is free and no obligation.

Who says we get the door shut in our face? I have been at this for more than 40 years and cannot remember anyone shutting the door in my face. As far as the question I sure would like to see my son again. But to assure that there are requirements to be met---believe it or not.
