What so many fail is the religous teaching of hell and the Bibles teaching of hell is two entirely different things. The word hell in the 'Old Testiment' is translated from the word sheol in Hebrew. If you have a Strongs Concordance you can locate the 66 places where the word sheol appears. The word sheol means the grave, pit or the location of the grave or pit. The Bible never indicates that anyone is alive or feeling pain in sheol (hell) To the contrary Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 Verse 5 says..."the dead know not anything" and verse 10 says,...in the grave (sheol, hell) there is no knowledge nor wisdom.
So common sense will tell you if the dead don't know anything and has no knowledge nor wisdom it would not matter if you froze a dead person or burned them to ashes they would not feel anything!
Then when you go to the New Testament you will find that the word hades is the Greek word used to translate the English hell. How can you prove the word hades is equivalent to the word sheol?
On the day of Pentecost 33 C.E., the apostle Peter quoted from Psalm 16:10 and applied it to Christ Jesus. Luke, in quoting Peter’s words, used the Greek word haides, thereby showing that Sheol and Hades refer to the same thing, mankind’s common grave.(Ac 2:25-27, 29-32)
Compare those two scriptures and prove to yourself that the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades mean the same thing the grave.

HELL sheol / hades

The Hebrew word sheohl occurs 65 times in the Masoretic text (Old Testament). In the King James Version, it is translated 31 times as “hell,” 31 times as “grave,” and 3 times as “pit.” The Catholic Douay Version rendered the word 63 times as “hell,” once as “pit,” and once as “death.” In addition, at Isaiah 7:11 the Hebrew text originally read sheohl, and it was rendered as “Hades” in the ancient Greek versions.

Regarding Sheol, the Encyclopaedia Britannica (1971, Vol. 11, p. 276) noted:“Sheol was located somewhere ‘under’ the earth.... The state of the dead was one of neither pain nor pleasure. Neither reward for the righteous nor punishment for the wicked was associated with Sheol. The good and the bad alike, tyrants and saints, kings and orphans, Israelites and gentiles—all slept together without awareness of one another.”

While the Greek teaching of the immortality of the human soul infiltrated Jewish religious thinking in later centuries, the Bible record shows that Sheol refers to mankind’s common grave as a place where there is no consciousness.(Ec 9:4-6, 10)

Throughout the inspired Scriptures, Sheol is continually associated with death and not life.(1Sa 2:6; 2Sa 22:6; Ps 18:4, 5; 49:7-10, 14, 15; 88:2-6; 89:48; Isa 28:15-18; also compare Ps 116:3, 7-10 with 2Co 4:13, 14.) It is spoken of as “the land of darkness”(Job 10:21) and a place of silence.(Ps 115:17) Abel apparently was the first one to go to Sheol, and since then countless millions of human dead have joined him in the dust of the ground.

Is Hell Eternal? The abswer would have to be NO For Revelation 21:3,4 shows that at some point DEATH will be no more. Therefore if death is no more then the grave would not be needed anymore. Thus the end of SHEOL, HADES, HELL and the GRAVE!
That is why I could say that religions teaching about hell and the Bibles use of the word hell are entirelly two different things!

It will never work, God will get you all one of these days,in a devils hell, along with all the the other liars and decievers (For Eternity)Why can't you people understand plain simple Bible teaching,is your mind really so twisted that you cannot understand simple teaching from the Bible?

I posted scriptures to support what I was saying and you posted none. If what you say is true why not submit scriptures to back your claim? Like where does this devils hell come from? And that it is for eternity?

You still forget about the rich man and Lazarus...your interpretation of the is bogus and makes no sense whatsoever....why wont you talk more about that subject....if the word was tormenting then why have water....we all know the water was only to show some kind of thirst due to heat...not that some word had tormented someone....again how did the word torment them...you try to add words from other paragraphs that dont go with this parable...you need to research some more....what you really need to do is drop the brochures and just read the bible...try that once...but you are to far gone....you really think you know something....just the thought of it makes me have fervent heat and im dissolving as i speak....please
