1973 to 2012...that's 39 years...cold cases get solved all the time. Who was the coroner then and who investigated the scene? There had to be a reason they ruled it a suicide.

This is my dearly beloved uncle Glenn you guys are talking about. He was in fact murdered, possibly for having seen something he wasn't supposed to. He didn't commit suicide and he NEVER tried. For all you wise cracks with nothing better to do than make heartless remarks, I'm praying for you. I'm guessing this topic and his name was brought up because somebody either has a guilty heart or they want to stir it up so hopefully justice can prevail. My grandma went to her grave with a broken heart over this. Yes, I'm sure she forgave the culprits because her faith in God gave her a forgiving heart. Can you imagine being her when the news was delivered that he was dead and that he died such a horrible death? Out of respect for the family and for my uncle, I am asking that this topic stop with my post. If you know something about this, call the police or you can email me at [email protected] I promise you any information will remain confidential. The date this happened was February 25, 1973. Watch the local newspaper next week for a picture of him. R.I.P. Uncle Glenn Dial

To 'omg no', THANK YOU! To 'Really', I believe the coroner was George Webb. He probably ruled it as best he could to eliminate any more deaths in the family. I believe he knew the people behind it had far too many "friends of the dark" than he wanted to reckon with. It is almost 40 years since the date of this tragedy, glad to see my uncle still has people who care about him. It isn't considered an unsolved case so I'm sure it won't get anymore exposure. However, people do escape the judgement and punishment they deserve in this world but it will be a different story in the next one.

i would bet that a big reward would help ,.....

somebody out there knows what happened -
i would imagine that a $10,000.00 reward for information might help loosen tight lips ,...
