I remember and I remember as a kid I saw the dryer when it was removed from laundry mat. It still had some of his skin burnt on the dryer.

How could it be ruled suicide? Just how do you climb into a dryer and then turn the stupid thing on?

I'm sorry for their loss but there is no way someone would commit suicide that way. I just don't buy it. If he did, he must have been some kind of magician. Most people who go the suicide route look for a fast, easy way. Maybe no one wants to admit that someone forced him in there and murdered him.

it would be impossible to get in a big industrial dryer by your self ,.
unless the locking mechanism was faulty or tampered with ,
he was probably stuck in as a prank ,..
his idiot friends just thought he would some how get out ,..
some one should go out ,, and ask all his old schoolmates ,..
now that they are older ,..
maybe the will 'fess up '

I agree. Probably a prank gone bad, which to me is still murder. Whether they intended to or not.

This is my dearly beloved uncle Glenn you guys are talking about. He was in fact murdered, possibly for having seen something he wasn't supposed to. He didn't commit suicide and he NEVER tried. For all you wise cracks with nothing better to do than make heartless remarks, I'm praying for you. I'm guessing this topic and his name was brought up because somebody either has a guilty heart or they want to stir it up so hopefully justice can prevail. My grandma went to her grave with a broken heart over this. Yes, I'm sure she forgave the culprits because her faith in God gave her a forgiving heart. Can you imagine being her when the news was delivered that he was dead and that he died such a horrible death? Out of respect for the family and for my uncle, I am asking that this topic stop with my post. If you know something about this, call the police or you can email me at [email protected] I promise you any information will remain confidential. The date this happened was February 25, 1973. Watch the local newspaper next week for a picture of him. R.I.P. Uncle Glenn Dial
