Most kids today don't want to work. They want a pay check, but not the responibility. The older workers are more loyal and get to work on time.

most of the older workers have to keep working so all these mailbox watchers can get there food stamps and there checks coming in every month, so don't bash the older people because they work that's what we have had to do all our life and we have paid more taxes in than you will ever think about paying and yes I agree with the other post,WE DO KNOW HOW TO GET TO WORK ON TIME

If it wasn't for the older folks working the economy would really go bust. Its a shame that most people have to work their entire iife to make it now. The free loaders do not want joba they want handouts. People should respect their elders.

Not to be stereotyping, but overall older workers are more dedicated and harder workers than most young workers who often times seem to be lazy. Hope this doesn't offend the small percentage of young workers who do not fit in this catagory and take their job serious and are hard workers.

Not all young people, but many can't get it thru their entitlement attitude heads that nobody starts at the top. You start at the bottom and WORK your way up. Life is not fair and never has been. Many companies have found ways around hiring people full time and offering benefits. Again, life is not fair. In order to succeed you have to WORK and do the best job you can. Then find a better job and move up to better pay and benefits. Education, strong work ethics, a smile and positive attitude can take you far. Good luck!

Do some of you people ever stop to think about how some of the "older" workers as you call them, grew up? Do you think living on a farm was easy work? some worked from daylight to dark just to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads, and some of you whine about having to work, when the sewing factories were here there was always jobs available, BUT, that was WORK, men and women would come in and work a few weeks, catch up on some bills then quit, or the husband would get a job, then wifey would quit, or wifey got a job and hubby would quit, people need to learn that jobs are not available anymore, big pay and all the extra benefits are gone, employers have their pick of workers now, so it's either work or be on your way out, I'm afraid if some of you are waiting for the qreat job to come along, you may get old before that happens, what do some of you that complain so much have to offer a employer? or do you ask yourself that question? if not then maybe you should.
