Does Green River Animal Shelter have enough room for all those counties? I hope this doesn't spell doom for their wonderful progress.

They have no room at all at GRAS. Taylor Co. will pay them $44 per dog that is taken over there, they will be euthanized immediately and Adair Co. makes $44 profit on every animal. How does that make you feel just handing over our tax dollars to Adair Co.? This is what Eddie Rogers and the 6 worthless Magistrates want. It is totally their decision.

Well, let's just euthanize every dog taken to the Taylor County Shelter immediately. Of course everyone is willing to take an inmates word about mass burials and other horror stories and the state came and investigated and there was no mass grave. Between three or four "stirrers" in Campbellsville along with several out of county activists, they've created a controversy. But hey,it's Campbellsville and Taylor County and it can't go a month without a controversy.

Also, if Taylor pays Adair $44 per dog, and Adair has to euthanize them, there is a cost associated with that so it's not $44 profit. Take an economics or finance class.

We have a building in Campbellsville that we should use. Why do we send them to Adair? This is nuts!

They won't be euthanized right away when they get there, they will be held for 5 days just like they were here! Now since they will be held for 1 day here before being transported to Adair county then if my math is correct then that is 6 days before they are euthanized! That's 1 day longer than when we had a shelter! That's a win win for you puppy freaks!!! Besides its obvious there is no pleasing you radical groups, you raised hell for years about the treatment and conditions of the shelter so finally they close it and now you raise hell cause their closing it? Wtf ??? Are you really pissed cause you are running out of things to complain about? I really am confused!! Shut up, you caused this mess, get over it and move on

Get your head out of Eddie's and John's a$$ long enough to figure out that they just built a new building. They signed new contracts with LaRue and Casey counties one in December the other one in January of this year but now it's going to be a holding facility.
You can't be that stupid to think there's nothing going on.

Those idiot activists are only trying to get control of the shelter to get the county to give money to their causes. One of them is now bragging about rescuing a damn yard mole. These people are kooks!

What kind of life is it for an animal to live 4 or 5 years in a small enclosed cage? That is inhumane. Euthanize them after a month and save the money for more worthy causes.

No, I am not wrong - if their shelter is already full, then they have to euthanize animals to make room for the animals brought in. That is exactly what TCAS did when Casey County brought in 26 dogs one day and there was no room. 26 dogs had to be euthanized to make room for the 26 dogs brought in. Either way 26 dogs lost their lives for no reason. You need to get your facts straight before you speak or write! Common sense is all it takes to figure this whole situation out. MAJOR COVER UP IN COUNTY GOVERNMENT!

so believe the newspaper when they say all the things about the shelter, but dont believe the newspaper when they say the county doesnt have to pay back the money? that makes sense. you can't have your cake and eat it to! I wish you radicals would make up your mind what you want, believe the newspaper, dont believe the newspaper, close the shelter, open the shelter !! WTF enough is enough! I think the county finally realized that you will never be happy so move it somewhere else and let them deal with it. When will you people realize that YOU are causing more harm to these animals than ANYONE? believe it or not its TRUE!!!! YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS, not the county!!! I for one didnt vote for Eddie Rogers, but I assure you I will in the next election because I'm finally glad to see someone with a backbone not bend over for you self centered radicals and stand up to you!!! WTG Eddie!!!
