This young man needs to recieve more from this town then just watching. He should have a street named after him, a parade, a day in his honor. He fought for what we hold dear but take for granted. If not for the men and women in our armed services what would we have. They put their lives on the line to give us the freedoms that we have. COME ON COLUMBIA STAND UP AND BE PROUD OF THOSE WHO SERVE

Reading his story brought me to tears with pride. I've never met him nor had I ever heard of him prior to media releases. I fully intend to have my box of kleenex and watch him receive his awards, and I will forever show my respects to this young man.

Why did all of the television, radio & news coverage give out Greensburg as his hometown if Columbia is claiming him as "their son"? Just wondering why Columbia was never mentioned except in Columbia?.....

Not to burst your bubble, but I think the President of the US of A mentioned it when he gave Dakota the medal.

I agree with your comment about the "supporters". Amazing how some people have attached themselves to him just to get themselves in the limelight.
