The seasonal flu has not hit yet when they both hit that is when closing time will come. Probably a smart move for a change, because it will get worse before it gets better.

It can't get much worse at our house every time i get my kids well and send them back to school for a few days they get it right back. Then me and there dad gets it again. We have been fighting this sickness for 2 months or longer. We have been staying home more and away from public places as much as possible, disinfecting the house 3 to 4 times a week. I just dont no what else to do. As a parent I fill the schools should be closed. With so many deaths related to H1N1. Even if it means close them again later if need be.

Millions of people have had H1N1 and not died. The cases you are hearing about on TV, radio ect are the extreme. There is always a lot of sickness this time of year, it has just been magnified because of H1N1.

We couldn't close last week due to the football team and band competition.

RESEARCH IT! If you have a healthy immune system you are immune to H1N1. The extreme cases are people who already have weak immune systems and don't get treatment. If your kid is sick bring them to the doctor, it's as easy as that. And yes, my child and I both have already had it, it's not that bad as long as you get the meds. Everybody take precautions, and disinfect yourself before visiting the elderly, they are most at risk. But don't shut our schools down, does your children's education mean nothing to you?

Also, good nutrition would help the children stay healthy. So many don't eat right in this generation which compromises their immune system.

I dont think there is a child at the school right now with a healthy immune system about ever child i see out there when i go to pick mine up has snot running out of there nose, cuoghing, and sneezing there heads off.and besides my childs health is more important than there education. If they are out there sick they aint going to learn nothing no way.And like i said before i have had them to the DR. but as soon as they get well and i send them back it aint 3-4 days they have it again. Not the flu but the cough, sore throat, sneezing, low grade fever,so it has got to be coming from the school. And yes my children takes allergy meds. every day and the DR. keeps saying it is more than allergies. So what is a parent suppose to do.

My child had it and did fine, thank God. Most people are doing fine. Can't live life on a if or in a bubble. Get yours the vaccine, that is about all we have control of in this situation.

Not sure what you are talking about....there are 22-24 students in the classrooms at Casey.
