When is the election? It's not hard to understand why no one is running. First of all it's a thankless job, not to mention Columbia politics is so screwed up who would want to stick their your hand in it.

After the last few groups and what they cost us, they have my vote.

I have 1 1/2 years left and will be renting my home to HUD applicants so that we can become more like the neighbors to the north. Diversity and I don't care who gets in , not the community i grew up in and don't see any changes for the better. Crap that has moved into the political spectrum around here can have it and not worth my tax dollars. I will have you the taxpayer pay the bill and let this piece of sh t peyton place go down like the rest of the area has. A lot of the old time columbians should stand up and put a stop to this but when 1200+ implants vote kevin in they can have this place, lookout randolph county you are next
Same thoughts

I'm renting my place to HUD too because The administration supports it. Buying other properties in Columbia for the reasoning. hUD is easy and a good payor and those people like Columbia. Go Eagles. Food Stamps for all!

Maybe we should pick some general low life drunk and mild drug abuser, get he or she elected and see how that goes. If nothing else it would be a good research case

agne, what a joke. this guy has the biggest dump of a yard i have ever seen. jim it is time to step down. days of freeloading off the city are over.you go up to city hall every day and ese the internet for your own personal use,and that is wrong. i dont know how you sleep at night. you want everybody to keep their houses looking nice and yours looks like sh8t. what a rloe model you are.

ps alderman reis isnt any better.

the citizens are fed up with the establishment but don't want to waste their time and resources trying to change it. Just my opinion. I thought by now the mayor would have sought election to a higher office

Here's what we can thank our incumbents for:
-$750,000 tax dollars wasted on a totally one-sided and ILLEGAL development deal for Columbia Crossings
-$400,000 tax dollars wasted paying off STS lawsuit (he deserved it thanks to Neimetz and Ebersohl bad decisions)
- Now we are being sued for $385,000 by Horner & Shifrin because the alderman's "preferred developer" refused to pay his bills.

Is there another city in the state, our size, that has wasted more tax $$ than these folks?
Please step down! We can't afford your bad decisions!!

Don't worry about it we can just raise taxes again to cover it.
