It could be a single person or a business bringing in money. We all know its not our small government. There is glue in this town and its not them. Its all the regulars in my opinion. But really here is a spot to mention those who never get credit

Good choice for sure as i'm sure he would choose another which is why he's such a great guy.

Many others donate time, money, food, land etc to the community with no request for publicity, thanks to them as well.

The women who plant flowers in the parks, at city buildings, etc. I'm assuming it's some sort of women's club. They're usually dressed alike and they don't seem to mind the heat in the summer. Ladies: You keep this town looking great and it is appreciated.

How about that guy Glenn that drives around on the john deere lawnmower. He is mentally challenged and he always picks up trash and cans along the road and keeps our city looking nice, much appreciated!

No one said who has done the most good things for columbia, just the most. So my vote goes to Jay Unnerstall. He has done the most to slow progress in columbia!

Kevin Hutchinson does give lots of his time as did all the previous Mayor's and council members but i wouldn't put any of them in the top. I would say the Frierdicks as they built Columbia and have given land and money to many causes over the years.

I vote for the U5. Despite incredibly hateful personal attacks, they overcame tremendous odds and prevented what surely would have been an economic disaster for Columbia. These five will always have my appreciation for their courage.

The U5 are the hateful, lying and misleading scoundrels who have cost this city a ton of tax payer dollars. Grewe should be thanking them as they save him millions of dollars for a development that was destined to fail with this economy. These U5 are the ones who attack all that is good and progressive. They attack the police, intimidate city employees and twist truths and lie repeatedly about city issues in the media and the public. I am sure they are on the Grewe family Christmas card list.

U5?? well they've done the most to divide Columbia since maybe it's inception. I'm sure they would not get the majority to agree, oh wait they all lost in the election. Hmmm.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
