I think it's just horrible how the state chooses to spend the tax payers money. In my opinion if the funds aren't there to fix a road properly than don't mess with it at all. Lets break up the phrase chip-and-seal, for one it's just a band aid, it doesnt last long and lets not forget the first word chip. I think for those who care about thier vehicles and the money they spend on them, they would have to agree that it's hard to keep a vehicle nice when you have to drive down a chip-and-seal road, it's a given, if you drive down a chip-and-seal road you will get stone chips all over your paint, which will lead to your vehicle rusting sooner and faster. I don't know about you but to me my tax dollars are being wasted and the life of my vehicle looking nice is being reduced. What's wrong with this picture, I guess you just can't have anything nice, because there will always be someone who want's to destroy the nice things that you work so hard for!
