Well, it is nice to know the truth prevailed. I would expect no less for all you "police haters" out there to cry foul. The truth is the truth. These "women" were drunken liars and unfortunately the media, as usual, saw police involved so blew it up into a much bigger story before getting the facts. As for the attorney filing the tort claim, he knows it is easy to get money from the state and I am sure he is not a very good attorney or he wouldn't be an ambulance chaser. Kudos to the state police and all of our law enforcement men and women. God bless you all and keep you safe even protecting those who can't protect themselves and are ungrateful!!

I am pretty sure the "victims" names are identified because of the frivolous tort claim against the State. The video surveillance provided by the newly installed city cameras aided in this case being dismissed. I am still in shock that the "victims" are seeking damages, although if you notice "The tort claim also lists Laura Michaelis and David A.B. Heritier, the attorney’s son. It says all live in Indianapolis." Is that a big shock? Their arrogance and stupidity will bring the facts to light and vindicate the three officers.

Oh, so beating people up off duty and harrassing young women are part of your job description too? Nice. And you can do whatever you want to off duty, but...as long as you do your job on the clock it's okay...what hypocrital BS. You should behave off the clock in the same manner on the clock, but as of lately...you profession isn't so good at behaving themselves on the clock either.

I went to internal affairs with a problem in the way my daughter and friends were treated and were not allowed to make a call on there cell phone when they were pulled over after a parent was upset at her daughter who was with mine, made up a lie to have my daughter's truck pulled over. the cop cussed at these kids over and over. Searched and tore up the truck. this was a year ago and i still have pieces of the truck that we don't know were they belong. There were 6 cops that body searched these girls and found nothing. Is this even legal?Towed the truck and told the girls ,who were far from home they better got to walking there f--king a--es home because it was going to be a long walk. It was 9:45 at night. I took this to everyhigher up person I could think of and internal affairs, I was laughed at ,told that all these girls lied and we could not prove anything. Internal affairs told me there was no evidense that supported their claims.I want to know how does an investigation
take place when none of our witnesses were contacted? The lady at internal affairs got very upset with me when I questioned this and told me she did not have to explain anything to me.
We have been treated negative by the dept. It is very hard to teach my children respect by one who have done us so poorly. Sorry this is so long I just needed to vent.

Hey Carl Brizzi, let me guess... no charges against the troopers because none of the "victims" were of color. What happened? No concerned clergy pulling your strings this time. Show the world the Tiki Bob video!!!
I get so tired of people holloring, "they weren't of color" and stupid statements like this. You show your intelligence. Your color gets more than my color, believe me. See how many people are on welfare of different races and I guarantee you one color is more than another. And it's not "my color." Grow up and quit playing the "color" game. No, I'm not predjuiced. My daughter is named after a "person of color", as you put it. We all have color.
For the other whiners, the witnesses weren't cooperative & the stories didn't match. Yes, there are some bad police but not any more than in any other career. The next time you need the police force, just call someone else to protect you. The police force is corrupt anyway. They probably would help the intruder!! It's time we stand up quit complaining of the bad cops & compliment the good ones.

Only a police officer would take a statement of generalization and twist it into some kind of a threat...You absolutely prove the point that you can do what you want when you want...and what is really BS is that you guys usually get away with it.

I think you misunderstood Jason. I take it that he is upholding the police. Read the last line of his entry.

Maybe you should consider a job at the morgue. You get to see a lot of naked people there.

Did they expect the cops top prosecute the cops? Hope these guys are not patrolling the streets. More than likely they are shaking down dope dealers and sleeping with the local prostitutes

It sounds like Jason has a basic misunderstanding about why people shoot at police. The real reason police are shot at is that they are trying to enforce law and order and the shooter thinks that the police officer might interrupt the crime the shooter is ready to commit or catch him for the crime he already committed. Plus, the shooter has no regard for the sanctity of the police officers life and or anyone elses. The shooter figures that his criminal life style trumps anyone elses right to live.

Give it up. The police have collectively brought this upon themselves by acting above the law and by abusing their power on routine traffic stops.

The message to cops is this: THE PUBLIC IS WATCHING YOU AND YOU'D BETTER START ACTING RESPONSIBLY.

Amen. This just proves how insecure some police officers are.
