So,let me get this right...

Judge Grant Hawkins granted a change of venue because of an influx of media interest/attention...
__________
{From WRTV} Judge Grant Hawkins noted that cameras greeted him outside the courtroom and that he didn't expect the case would draw less interest in future hearings.
__________

{From The Linked Article in The Journal Gazette)

In Fort Wayne:

FORT WAYNE – They set up shop just off the steps on the top floor.

Some hauled cameras and microphones. Others wielded notebooks, yellow legal pads and pens. The reporters dressed in snappy suits and overcoat. The cameramen chose a more casual route – jeans and jackets emblazoned with their respective television logos.

And they all stared, for a long time, at a set of double doors down a hallway inside the Allen County Courthouse on Friday.

The gaggle of reporters and cameramen was there to catch glimpses of embattled Indianapolis police officer David Bisard, whom they had already followed through the halls of the courthouse that day.
__________

Kinda makes the Judge's excuse for a change of venue a bit moot,eh?

Judge Hawkins has been disciplined in the past. In my opinion,he is a bad,bad judge. The FOP seems willing to do anything to set the drunken SOB free. The FOP is also willing to extremely alienate the citizens of Marion County over this drunken SOB.

Ballard has proven himself to be nothing more than impotent buffoon over this entire fiasco. IMPD has promoted the demoted executives within its ranks.

I expect Ballard to announce David Bisard as our new safety director after the case is finished.

The whole thing stinks.

Don't forget the kafkaesque nature of IMPD's supposed incompetence in the handling and storage of Bisard's vials of blood.

IMPD and the Ballard administration couldn't care less about the public and public safety.

Ballard is happy as long his belly is full of martinis and double bacon cheeseburgers. He's happy as long as his campaign coffers are full of contributions and he has access to expensive travel junkets to exotic locations.

Corruption is the status quo.

I want the forum wingers to comment on this case. I would like to know if they approve of Republican Mayor Greg Ballard's half hearted and impotent efforts with regards to this case.

Come on shills, what are your thoughts?

The police are always right. If someone dies, it is obviously not cop's problem. If the victim happens to be black, the cop should get a bonus.
