There isn't a link because this guy is exaggerating. Just because the district attorney decided to drop drug possession charges does not mean he wasn't in possession of drugs. The D.A.s drop cases all the time because they have too many cases, and not enough man power to file every possession charge in a county were drugs are everywhere.

Oh, and courts don't "rule" cops to be liars. An officer can purge himself in court and have that fact follow him for ever, but this is something that has to be proven in a court setting, during trial. This loser didn't even go to trial, his case was just dismissed. For a person to claim that an officer would "plant" dope on them is just ridiculous. No dirt bag is worth an officer losing his job over.

Interesting spin on the La Villa allegations.
The Alchololic Beverage Controll act was written after the repeal of prohibition in the last century,mainly to curb bootleging.Thus it has provisions that allow law enforcement to search taverns,bars, resteraunts,etc w.out having a warrant.It also provides for other such fun activites as narcotics being stored/sold
,prostitution and gambling (think Mule Lip).
Other requirements include serving/possessing only alcholhol bought through a distributor (sorry,bathtub gin and prison hootch don't count),to insure public safety .
Getting to the point,if the police were truly out to get La Villa, the opportunity to plant some dope existed,as I understand there were 7 officers on hand.It would have cost the owner there alchohol liscence and effectivly close down the buiness.Then again, what if they were caught?
Obviously the recall election wasn't worth an officer losing his or her job,as recall proponents have suggested.
Now before you say "Crawford it's over,just drop it" I would like to say I'm simply taking stock on the toll this recall,which as evidence by the polls was unnecessary,has taken on our community.How many friendships were torn apart ?

So are you trying to say you were found "not guilty" by a jury, after a full jury trial? Before you claimed that the Superior Court 'ruled' that the officer is a liar. Who was on trial? Please,show a little bit of sensitivity.Shame on Officer Parra,Shame ! The judge dismissed Victums case because obviously the mentally disabled do not use controlled substances.Maybe if Victum would have been wearing his helmet when he got stopped,Victum wouldn't have become a victim.
