It's hard to understand why a mother would want to do this. There are so many other more appropriate ways that a mother could honor her children. I can only think that possibly it's because she is such a young mother and doesn't have the same feelings that a more mature mother might have had. But if she needs to do this to cope with her loss, it's okay. It's really sad, but it's okay.

Theres something really strange about this. I find her actions quite disturbing. Educating kids about the dangers of fires is one thing but "scareing" them about the death of her own kids is just assinine. I think she needs a mental eval. This isnt about greiving the loss of her kids either.

If she wants to honor the memory of her kids, then why is she charging a fee to get in? Sounds like a way to make some money to me. I would never take my kids to that it's creepy.

Agreed. How can code enforcement even allow this to go on. The place is a hazard!

Last night on the news they said the main reason the haunted house was shut down as it had been red tagged as unsafe after the house fire.

What is the "appropriate" way to mourn? The answers vary just as individuals do & age has nothing to do with it. The boys are at peace now but she is still suffering & trying to cope with her loss. It is not about agreeing or disagreeing. In either case you have the right to share you opinion just as she has the right to mourn.

Perhaps you need to read the story over. She clearly stated this was her way sharing Halloween with her boys. This is what they would have enjoyed. Grieving the loss of a child is the most difficult thing a parent can face. In fact, it is better to seek professional help in dealing with it. It doesn't mean you are crazy. The loss of a child is not the natural order of life & when it occurs in a horrific way it is even worse. Let's not be judgmental & try to be understanding of her grieve.

That is a good question. Do you have any idea how expensive the most simplest funeral can be? That does not include the cost of the cemetery. Perhaps she will use the funds to purchase a grave marker that can run from $500-$1,000.00 each. She lost 2 boys. Her children she carried in her womb for 9 months each & awaited their arrival for with many hopes & dreams for each of them. Now they are gone. Does know one understand that?

I agree. The haunted house should not take place if it is unsafe for anyone to enter. The fact that it has not been red-tagged is not a go ahead for this event. The safety of all needs to be considered or there will definitely be liability issues & not all of them can be resolved with lawsuits & money. I am sure she would not want the pain she has over the loss to be inflicted on any other parent.

Sounds like the safety issues have been dealt with & any future tragedies at this location avoided.

What Viviana is doing in memory of her children is a good thing, she feels at peace where they had lived. Maybe some people think it is morbid, but no one has been in her shoes. I say let her express her mourning in a manner that is befitting to her and her childlren. People who are quick to critize need to step back and let her mourn.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
