If you know who did it, tell the police. I don't believe he did it either. This soldier was disabled last year, fighting for your Country. Don't add to his grief. Most people like to comment without getting the facts right first-Ignorance. Everyone has a moral responsibility to do the right thing. It's called being a responsible citizen. Please do the right thing. He has a 4-yr old.

Now you're acting like the same ignorant people making the accusatory comments without knowing the facts. Threats never help, anger never helps. Just pray this person speaks up. Our soldiers are coming back heroes with consequences-My hat is off to all of you. For those that need it, seek counseling-its not a sign of weakness, it takes a bigger person to admit he/she needs help and cure themself. God Bless all of you!! Chin up!

please dear "unknown",we're begging you to please speak up. He's my nephew, please don't let an innocent person go to prison for something we all know he did not do! we love him so much and he has suffered alot already in Irag, he almost died there. his brother is a marine and does not know what his brother is being accused of, he also served in Irag and has been near death. Anthony's mother is so devastated, she needs her son, we need justice please! please say something, my nephew can't even run, he didn't do it. he was coming home for God sakes, save my nephew.

I knew the man that was shot and killed. I think that if you are man enough to hold a gun to a teenagers chest and shoot, you are no hero. I don't care what you did over sea's, it's what you do at home that counts. I also think that just because you are a soldier does not mean that you should be able to get away with murder. MURDER is MURDER any which way you look at it. I think the murdering low life should die of old age in a cell. Anyone who kills should.

First of all, the person who was killed is known, and more loved than this low like soldier that murdered him, not killed him, murdered in cold blood. He never got the chance to have children so I can't say I am sorry that the 4 year old will never get to know his dad. Secondly the proof is there and will come out. Third, our military tought this man to kill, to fight for our country, not to come home and murder for drugs. And to the person unknown in Little Rock, if you ever read this, thank you. P.S. To who ever Do the right thing is, you don't quite know the facts either, so I wouldn't speak so quickly.

To Anthonys aunt, what about me needing my son? If he was such a good person then he should have thought about his 4 year old before he did what he did. And let his brother know he's being charged with murder, John is not near to death he is DEAD. I commend our soldiers too, our father was in 2 wars defending his country and neither time did he come home to murder any one. John was a good kid who made a bad choice, but not one bad enought that he deserved to die. Your nephew will at least get the chance to live in prison. He gets 12 people to help decide his fate. John only got one, judge, jury, and murdered.

I say fry the soldier if he indeed did shoot the teenager. You have all these assholes coming home from Iraq claiming they were trained to kill and they just reacted. The truth is that most of the people that deploy dont ever go out the wire and probably dont know what Iraq looks like. F**k being a trained killer. Only Pogs that spent their entire time on fobs playing counter strike and getting fat on burger king have all these excuses about how Iraq turned em into killers.
I have done almost 3 years in Iraq as an Infantryman and myself and every other Infantryman in our company has faced some of the meanest funementalist shitbags out there and whooped their asses. But not one of us has come home and done something stupid like what the soldier in question did. No one has dealt drugs, no one has felt the need to flash his weapon in public and no one has ever felt the need to go to bars or talk to news reporters about how the war in Iraq turned them into brooding psycho killers. Soldiers that actually engage the enemy in combat dont feel the need to talk about it. They are trained professionals that do their jobs and dont look for glory at bars when they come home. Only pogs and wannabes tell tall tales. I am sure when we come back to the states again our unit integirty will be just as tight as over here and that none of us will do anything stupid to bring disrepute to the Infantry.
Also for the tough guy that is threatening to track people down by their ip addresses, please feel free to do so.I I am currently in Mosul. But when I get back please stop by the B/co 1-8 Infantry cp and identify yourself as the tracker. You wont be disappointed. Screw POGS and thugs.

I am with you on this one. The soldiers who are drug dealers, thieves, and murderers where degenerates before they joined the military and always will be. I myself have been to Iraq twice and nothing pisses me off more than soldiers who use the war as an excuse to get away with everything. Every soldier is offered the opportunity, multiple times might I add, to get the help they need if they are willing to take it.

I was a grunt for 20 years and when we came back all we ever had were some DUI's. It was the BSB's who had all the PTSD cases and thugs. The grunts are professionals...the support are amateurs.
