I read your sad story yesterday about the demise of the Rockrimmon Buck. You stated that the man who found the deer said that its body had been dragged through a fence by a bear. Are the bears out yet from hibernation? What evidence did he have that it was, indeed, a bear that retrieved the buck? The man didn't provide a picture, did he? I would find the story he gave more feasible if it had been claimed by a mountain lion, because deer are the lion's main quest in looking for dinner, and I believe the bears are still napping. Just wondering.
