As the Black Actor Bill Cosby has said; "Until all the monorities stop bringing attention to themselves, and become just Americans, We will continue to have discrimination and problems" Quote/UnQuote.

This is so true. I have to believe that attention to it was needed at one time, but something happened and the pendulum swung way over to the other side, and now in my humble opinion, it could be out of balance.. Me, my family, my parents, all of us never knew there was discrimination, etc., because we treated everyone equal.. DanF

This is in the same town where they celebrate the annual Rattlesnake Roundup.

Sir; until you are bitten by a rattlesnake, and have 'no' Anti-Venom, and wish you could die, and have health problems for the rest of your life from the bites, then you can not appreciate what this Rattle Snake Round-Up accomplishes. And it is approved controlled and over-seen by The Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens. Thanks for your Comment!!

I don't know why anyone would complain about Sweetwater of all places celebrating Black History Month.Let the black people out there have their month. I had the misfortune to live out there in that backwards, miserable part of Texas and those black people out there have it real tough. As a matter of fact, the way racism is still so strong and prevalent out there I always wondered why a black person in his/her right mind would live out there in the first place. Or anyone for that matter!

I was born/raised there, and there was no racism. I'm not black, but caucasian. And just like a lot of other places in the Great Big old
United States, It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.Besides Black History Month is racist!

No such thing(never). But the last two are written about in the Bible, about Sodom and Gamorrah. If you'll read your Bible.
