I was amazed at their overall team speed and agility--especially among their big people! They certainly displayed a ferocity worthy of their mascot!
By the way, I didn't go to the scrimmage or watch them practice.
I just ate lunch at Pizza Hut today...
I always wondered why the quarterback keeps hollering Hut...Hut...Hut. He's probably burping up lunch!
If the boys seem a little sluggish, I suggest the coaches rub a little pepperoni on the ball. If they pounce on a fumble the way they pounce on a fresh pizza, they'll finish the season with zero turnovers.
All foolishness aside, the entire group of boys and girls impressed me as a fine group of young people of which the school and their parents can be proud.
