I cannot believe all the Colorado City complaining. I am not too happy with the current administration, starting with the the City Manager, but I will make sure I vote and make my change there. Not on a public forum and whining and crying.

Today a really nice man died, Roy Wilson. He had Cancer and it finally killed him. We lose a lot of people to Cancer. You don't see forums in C-City complaining about people dying or doing things to help them. Well that's not true. There is a benefit for his family this weekend. People not complaining and crying, but doing something positive. They are making a difference.

This City mess is no different than any other issue that citizers are faced with, but as usual, the town is divided. I've seen it with bringing in industry in years gone by, i've seen it with the hospital issue, i've seen it with power plant and now this mess. I have a point of view, if you dont like it you have 2 options. You can step up to the plate and change it, or you can leave. I would bet, not one of the people, pro or con that has complained about the city management will be on an election ballot. What does that tell you? It tells me they have not life and complaining takes a lot less energy then putting up campaign signs or something positive. If you don't like Colorado City and you are not willing to go the extra mile to change this issue, I'm sure Stanton has room for a few more old sore heads!

Our condolences go out to the Wilson family. I think people complain here because they don't feel heard in council meetings or when they try to talk to people in the City administration. I don't want to call it crying or whining because I happen to agree with alot of the issues that have been brought up and sometimes it helps to talk to others about it.

I agree with you in some ways ... I met Roy and he was great , and will be missed by many. But i do know some of the people complaining are planning on running. Some though it will take more of a commitment than just putting up signs , it will take leaving their jobs. So please consider that.

Here's an idea for "Loves c-city", if you don't like all the whining and complaining, stay off the website. I think your post is one of the most negative ones I have read in a long time.
Here we go again

I think it is unfortunate that two very different issues are tangled up in this thread: The condolences to the family of Roy Wilson, should be a completely seperete thread from the issue of the condition of the city government and the change or complants of the change
