A tornado touched down multiple times in Suffolk on Monday, causing widespread damage and leaving 60 people injured.

I think it's pretty "bad" when people lost their homes.....I'm sure you'd feel "bad" if it were your home....

Its just a home. That is why there is insurance. The only thing you cant replace is a life. The news is there for just one thing ratings. That is why you hear, will it rain this weekend tune in at 11 to find out. They are so happy then get to look sad and get ratings.

It was pretty bad and unreal to see in this area, but the media is making it bigger than what it is. Last night on the news the music they were playing to the pictures of the tornado sounded like the music that was on for when katrina happened! As far as the weather goes around here I think they all need to go back to weather school! Prays to all the families of this weather mishap! The daily press says hundreds of people hurt did ya all see that? Geezzzzzz!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the families effected. It is just so weird that something like this happened in Hampton Roads..

So "Major" that WAVY TV 10 didn't dare break away from where is Matt Lauer/ Today Show to air the local press conference!

A lot of locals would have found the press conference more informative! Thanks WAVY!

Some staying w/ friends/ family have no idea when they can return, but hey...we now know Lauer is in Amsterdam & his wife is Dutch. Thanks WAVY!!!

The middle to lower peninsula were in between those two super cells that produced those tornadoes. You better believe I thanked God in my prayers last night and also said a prayer for those who lost everything.
