What has happened to the kingsport lifesaving crew? They once were up front and going strong. but now it seems they are barley hanging on.Anyone know what the problem is?

I had a couple of friends that worked at the lifesaving crew back in the mid 1960's,and they told me some stories about some of the members who used the rescue squad for an excuse to get away from their wives and run around on them.Just what i was told. Anyone else know about this?

Another time i think your friends were right about some of the members of the lifesaving crew using it for a cover up to run around on their wives and girlfriends.i know of two different members who did that very thing and got away with it for years and never did get caught.What i do know is they sure caused a lot of problems with the young girls they left behind. This was in the mid 60,S and 70,S .7294
