I dont understand how Kingsport makes this huge announcement about Heritage Point at Tri Cities Crossing exit and even using City funds to build the road which is already being built and now Bristol announces this. Looks like Kingsport missed out on another huge development again.

Kingsport sucks, who wants to build in a stinkey place?

Bristol was chosen due to the raceway. The store will make a killing with the influx of visitors during race weekends.

Race track didn't have anything to do with it you idiot. Do you think 2 weekends a year is going to float something the size of BPS? Steve Johnson had the perfect piece of property inside the state line along with the incentives(Both sales tax and Property Taxes to lure BPS. NASCAR has become a dinosaur and continues to lose spectators at both the tracks and TV. By the way, look for Cabellas to come to Exit 5 in Bristol, Va.

I just heard Costco is coming to exit 5 as well. Kingsport has been trying really hard to get them and Bristol swooped in and lured them in over there instead.

bubby, I apologize for calling you an idiot. The fact of the matter is that you are really a dolt.(Broaden your vocabulary and look up the meaning of the word.)

Taylor should pursue Cabela's. I prefer them to Bass Pro. I lived for years near what will be the Bristol development. That place is low income and dead. Folks will not drive to Bristol if a good alternative is at the Heritage Point development. Costco is like Walmart stores there will be plenty to go around in time. Heritage point has the best location and Bass Pro is the one who missed the opportunity.

Costco is like Sam's . You have to pay to join it. It is not like a Walmart.
