The beauty of ignorance is if they don't know whats going on then they can just make it up,no sense in getting the facts its more fun to bad mouth and be negative about everything, it gets more attention

I am not impressed that "wall fly" is evesdropping on personal conversations and reporting his opinions on a public forum. What the heck is going on here? Can anyone sit in a restaurant without a big ear listening in and reporting his take of conversations he heard?

Good question. I know Luke has many ideas and speaks to the Council, but would he make a good Council member? I don't know, but we need to begin thinking of citizens who are good leaders for the town and the lowly masses.

i've been there a couple of times and have heard quite a bit come from that table. you don't have to evesdrop, they talk loud enough for everyone to hear.found out more info than the newspaper could print in one edition.don't know if all true but they can ramble on about anyone and everyone.

I think HB has a good head on his shoulders. He seems to think things through without going off half-cocked and I like that about him. I think I recall him saying at one time though that he was more of an idea man than an active player.

Normally, I would also nominate Ishkabbibble, except in the last day or so I witnessed him going off the reservation.

I like Wando Goforth also. She has done a lot of good around Town and she seems to know what's going on. She is also a full time resident who goes to most of the important meetings and I believe she has leadership capabilities.

I know other people who would make good candidates too, but at least for now, they are not full-time residents. They just seem to care a lot about the future of the Town and want to see it live up to it's potential.

Last I checked Wanda Goforth still had her vehicles registered in Maryland so she didn't have to pay taxes to Colonial Beach! Not a good start.

At least one of the above is a know it all, and if you dont agree with his/her opinion you are stupid.
I think we already have a Mayor like that. We need someone who can shut up and listen to the People.
Not just themselves. Then do what the majority of the people want. We need to get rid of the Good ole boys who only work for their friends, or themselves.

Take a look at my vehicles...all registered and tagged in Virginia. All my life I have lived in Virginia, never Maryland. Another untruth on Topix. Please know what you are talking about before spreading gossip.
