Had a white-knuckle drive in the flooded areas around Hall's earlier. What's it like where you are?

I had one earlier over at the Base today. Saw them pushing the mini coopers to higher ground. I see that KG has a tornado alert until 930 tonight. Glad you are safe now.

Madison is flooded at Lossing. All yards at the intersection are flooded pretty good too. Hope they have pumps.

I had 1 inch on my floor (ground floor) in my house on virginia ave this morning

lucky my house is kinda designed to get wet , all electrical is 2 feet off the ground , just made a mess of my dirty clothes

the worst part is that this is the time of year i would normally turn off my air conditioning and save some money on my DOM bill , but now i need to de-humidify my house big time

My yard is the drain point for most of our neighborhood, so my house is surrounded by water. The worst point I think was at around 1 p.m. yesterday when the water had risen well above the culvert and onto Cedar Ave. My crawl space is flooded, but luckily it hasn't entered into the house...yet.

Maybe better to rent or buy a dehumidifier than to run the A/C.

Dont come into town if you dont have to. Dont leave your house if you dont have too. The town is flooded worse than I have ever seen. It may be declared a disaster area before this one is over. Many roads are impassable and houses are flooding. If you have elderly or needy neighbors, now would be a good time to call and check on them.

We left King George @6:30. No getting down our street in town. After waiting at BB&T parking lot and then moving to Food Lion parking lot, finally made another try & got home just after 10. Thanks to Domino's for being open! Our entire street is flooded and we have more roof leaks. Things like this really make you appreciate the smaller things we take for granted every day! Stay home if you can. I hope everyone gets thru this ok!

Several inches of water downstairs, still rising. Cedar Ave. is underwater past Wakefield St., probably underwater near Riverview. Unfortunately, I was at the Town Council meeting while our home got flooded, so we've lost some stuff.

Water started to recede outside a bit, but rain picked up again.

I'm on Monroe Bay by Parkers I see car and trucks driving by in both directions. The water here in the bay is at a normal hight for a high tide. Some water may be 6 in. on Marshall and ball. Stay in you will stay dry. But if you like dancing in the rain .....NOW is the time!!

I'm sorry to hear that, Asa.
