Was he from the Middle East? I know a guy who knows a guy :(
There WILL be a replacement, There ALWAYS is. Those type people are issued one per charter with periodic replacement insurance. I think my brother probably served for awhile.

I have heard there are several persons in Oak Grove and CB (no names given)collecting to assist with his final resting. Maybe someone on here can enlighten us as to who specifically to contact in order to contribute.

When did this happen?
I know a minister that I am sure would be glad to officiate if needed

He passed yesterday afternoon. He had been attending Oak Grove Baptist. Maybe someone should speak to Rev. Snipes about doing a service for him.

You, sir, have one negative and ridiculous comment after another. "There will be a replacement... Those type people..." Are you kidding me? Pee Wee was a much loved man in Town, and you mark his passing with calling him one of "those type people". Disgusting.

Thanks, I think I hit both "glass" audiences :) It's a twofer since I put my brother in there too!

WTCSRET, if you ever showed one ounce of human decency, or even clarity, I would be amazed. Making jokes about the passing of this man shows the type of person you are.

I'm truly sad to hear this. I liked him, he would always wave or say hi. A fixture of the town for ever......

Oh gee let me chime in, make no sense and post a bunch of acronyms no one has ever heard of (NOHEHO). I should probably find a useful hobby instead of trolling on TOPIX 24/7. Peewee was a great person and will be missed. Unlike me!

Pee Wee was a fixture to anyone that lived in this town for very long.
Only in a small town like ours could someone like him live a long life relatively free from the hazards that someone like him would face in a city. He'll be missed.

Well Skippy you got me good! You don't have enough info on me to get a decent sub total.
You didn't have enough info to start this thread but you did. With a total pop. of 3.5K this man should be an open book. You didn't even have his WHOLE name. Every thing I have posted is true, but in a context that only a few would understand. By the way, you in your own way are probably OK too.

Be nice to WTCSRET.. those of us not smart enough to understand what the hell he's talking about may be missing a "compliment" or two.
Back to the matter at hand. Pee Wee was a nice fella'. I remember waiting for Billy Weston to cut my hair and Pee Wee would just drop by to say hello. Always willing to help carry your groceries, or just being polite. He was friendlier than most, come-heres and natives alike.

Hello all: Wow! The billowing response to Pee Wee''s passing is quite beyond what he might have imagined or hoped for.
He would have been delighted.
The beach will be a bit lonelier now, without him, but he made his mark in the lives of many of us and will not soon forgotten. May he rest in peace.
